I do so many things with Facebook

Hello mylotters! I visit Facebook multiple times each day. I start the morning with it, to remember birthdays and see what's going on in the lives of family and friends. Recently, there's been a lot of holiday travel, of course. But on Facebook, it's much more personal. I learn which of my friends is traveling to be with family or returning, and how they did with the challenging Christmas weather this year. Many times a friend will pop open a chat window to say hi or need to talk about something on their mind or going on in their lives. If they need specific help, I can summon other friends via Facebook and get that help to the one in need. I love sharing pet adoption notices. Hopefully, I'm helping some of them find good homes. Oftentimes, if a friend posts a cute, expressive or encouraging motto or holiday ecard, I'll share that, too. I also use Facebook for business, posting my different writing projects for viewing, and receiving and discussing business proposals. I don't do the games so much anymore. Facebook has come in handy lately for sharing family photos. Facebook is so versatile! Peace! :-)

Yup! You can share everything there, friend. But we need to be careful sometimes, to avoid being embarrass by posting irrelevant things. Because I notice that some people there post picture together with their boyfriend or girlfriend, where their husband or wife find out about their cheating activity...

Hey gang! For the most part, I disagree with posting the tiniest thoughts that pop into one's head for all the world to see. However, in certain situations, some people might benefit emotionally from the support of being able to share their feelings through posts marked explicitly for family and friends. For me, Facebook is primarily a constructive place. Peace! :-)

My mum complains that I spend so much time on facebook. However, as what you mentioned, facebook helps a lot. I used to play games with facebook but I don't do that anymore as it is more easy to get addicted than facebook itself. I admit that I am quite addicted to facebook now. Yet, it is just so convenient to use facebook to communicate with multiple people, especially for the purpose of discussing courseworks or organising events.

Hello MLam, and thanks for your response. You do need to get up and take movement breaks now and then. Breathe, stretch, dance, knock out some chores or play sports. I find if I don't my back gets in a knot and that's no fun. Peace! :-)

I am not a fan of facebook as much as you are... I am much more addicted here than to FB. I go on like one time a day. Not so exciting. And I don't earn anything there like I do here. I just prefer being here to be honest. Not as much drama and issues here...

In the beginning, I was addicted to Facebook. But that hype has gone down. For the most part, I have moved on to spending my time on reading the news and going to myLot. Actually, I go on Facebook now once a day or even just once a week it seems. It is very useful, but I try to balance my time with doing other things than just Facebook nowadays.

Hello, otanetix, and thanks for your reply. I agree with you that social media users need to have a balance of other activities throughout the day. Great observation! Peace! :-)

FaceBook is a good social networking to communicate with a lot affiliations over the web. however, one should pay more caution in terms of posting contents over the site. People should realize that social network is a powerful tool to disiminate information with this, we should learn to limit what is "personal" and "public" information. It should be weighed that we have some contents that is for public and for private views. Lastly, people should pay more close attention on responsible usage of social networking sites and put these as a good way to communicate rather than to violate.

Good afternoon, heay, and thanks for your thoughtful response. You tell the truth. Facebook and all social media warrant due diligence on the part of all users. Before you post, like or share anything, you should keep this responsibility in mind. Peace! :-)

yup facebook is really something, it is outstanding and it brought a lot of friends and family together. =) the thing is, we all love that opportunity, that we have our own photos, and our own videos up for the liking of our friends and if they got shared we all get that minutes worth of fame online as well. =0. Facebook is remarkable and we almost always get updates from it more often than we talk to our friends over sms... he he

It seems facebook is an addiction. I get 20-30 kids a day here in my cafe and all seems to go right to facebook. They chat, play games and post just like you do. I really never, ever use it here.

Hola maria, and thanks for posting. I agree, facebook can be an addiction for those with little self control. You're a busy lady, so I'm not surprised you don't get into it. Peace! :-)

hi Yes Facebook is very useful to many people a specially who are very active and those who have active friends. But some use it only for business purpose and not for personal use. I use facebook but only to a limited extent i dont upload everything what's going in my personal life.
