Why don't people just have fun in here and not worry about the money?

I am not worry at all. Coming here is my hobby and I like to see different kinds of discussions. I post or comment or reply if I like. I'm not post for money or something. Think about the money before each post is such a boring think in my mind.

Is it really thar we can earn money from mylot? I do not belive it at all before and even i do not know how we can get money from it,Is it necessary for me to open an account and deposit some money in the account firstly? I am a newer,and just joined the mylot only a few days ago.I wish to make some good friends here and improve my English.Thanks for all of your help in advance.

Yeah I know what you mean. There are lot of people that comes here for the money which isn't always a bad thing but it is about having fun and sharing your thoughts about things. I share my experiences that I go throw as I watch my kids grown and things I come across. That is always fun but I try hard to not make it about the money all of the time but more about my journey through life.

A lot of people come here at first for the money, but after a while you tend to forget about it because there are so many interesting things in mylot. It becomes a habit, then addiction. Those that don't forget about the money, I've noticed, tend not to stick around too long. It's just as well for them and us. Concentrating on the money prevents you from letting go and relaxing and just having an enjoyable experience. And I think some people don't understand the concept of quality over quantity. There are those who are convinced that more is better. As a rule, that doesn't apply here. And Happy New Year to you as well.

I find that when I don't stress out I do better here as well as all of my other earning sites too. If I'm worrying about what I'm doing here then I just am not having fun and it isn't worth it to me to be here. I need to not worry about money for this all to work out for the best of my advantage.

Yeah you are right..There are many people here who post just to earn and not to learn or enjoy. Majority being the newbies. Maybe we should give in a little extra effort to those people to make them have fun here. Cheers!

I registered with Mylot a long time ago, the main attraction being the opportunity to acquire a little extra cash. I was here for a while and then ceased to visit for several years, but recently I have decided to spend some time here again. It is nice to get an extra little cash paid into my Paypal account, but that is certainly not the main attraction these days. Mylot is a social site that I treat as a form of entertainment instead of watching television or reading a book etcetera.

yes is true but i think in the majority of cases people are active here trying to make some money online so the payment and the payout should be a real target for almost all i think...for this reason people asking about money in discussions on mylot too!!So i am not really sure that many people still active on the site if it would become just a global forum without payments...

Yes, people should enjoy their time on myLot. While we can earn some money on here (sometimes, even a fairly decent amount), myLot is not a job. Sadly, some people seem to think of it as such and some have even gone so far as to say so in posts. This is one of the sites where I hang out when I am avoiding work--whether it be paid work or some household chore. The fact that I can earn a little bit while I am on here is a nice way to justify me being on here rather than being off doing whatever dreaded task I'm avoiding.

I have wondered this myself. I have come back to mylot again and have noticed that the quality has gone done in many discussions. I am here to make some extra money but honestly i just like the conversations I have had with so many really awesome people. I don't understand those that put up a discussion and just don't respond back at all. To anyone. I hope people are having fun while mylotting and they are more focused on the fun conversation here!

Mylot is much more to me than just the money. I come here because I enjoy being here, I have a lot of friends here that I love to see around and I love having discussions with them. =) When I first joined I was much more worried about the money than I am now. Yeah the money helps and is nice but there are more important things here than just that.

Hi Rosekiss, People are here for different reasons. For some, mylot is a job. It used to be a job for me. I would get up every morning and comment on 100 or more discussions in a day. No we don't get paid per post, but we do get paid for what we type... you type you get paid, I type I get paid... we get paid for our participation in mylot... period. When I commented on 100 posts, they were well thought out responses. I also started some discussions and hosted them. I began to notice something... when I made my own discussion and hosted them, I seemed to make more than when I commented on other people's discussions... so I tried to balance it out... There were times I made $2 and $3 a day here... but I quickly burned myself out... I started here about 5 plus years ago.. and I had a different user name then... I stopped posting here so much because I was busy writing to make part of my living... I now make $4 and even sometimes $5 a day in Yahoo... without having to do much... so I now come back to mylot to generate a little income. If no one is here for the money, will they not use the money they get? Of course they do. If I didn't get paid here, I might still be here, because I used to be on an unpaid forum before I learned of mylot.. I spent lots of time there... so I would probably be here if I didn't get paid... but since they do pay, I will make the best of it. I don't put up garbage discussions just to make a penny or two... I just post when I have something to say.

The thought of being happy in this site is very ideal. Obviously, one of the reason why they used to stay in this site is to have extra money. People have different way of being happy, enjoying to create or response to their own and other people's discussions. Can we blame not to go for the deadline to reach the pay out system? I don't have any against you about being happy. We have our own perspectives and typically to say, all of us are not in the same track. This is only my personal opinion. There is no perfect world. Hi rosekiss, I've been here for ages but I just have fun here by reading the discussions rather than participating in it. I could understand your real message very well. But of course, money does matter to most of us :) so the issue is always there unless for those who don't rely the internet job as their income.

I totally agree with you rosekiss. When I first started here it was all about the money and I didn't see myself get very far. As I begin to spend more time on here I saw how much fun it is to spend time here on mylot and I notice and I wish that other people would notice as well, just come on here and forget about the money as you have said and just come on here to relax and have fun and just watch as your money rises. Then you will get the results that you are looking for. You are right that we don't get paid per post that we post. Forget how many post you make and just enjoy your time on here is all I say. Hopefully people will start figuring that out and start doing that.

A lot of the people that are coming to this site as here and online really only for the income. It is a pity as you state as they would have more fun if they were not focused on the revenue(which is a cool extra). They would also last a lot longer but hey I am not one to judge. Online income should be something passive and an added extra to whatever we are making in real life.

Sadly, everyone needs money. They need an extra cash here and there in order to buy groceries. Mylot actually provides a place for some people to make extra pocket change. That's why Mylot seem to attract desperate people and they are disappointed that they don't get much in the end. Since people realise this, they probably rather spend more time to get more money else where. You can tell these people to relax but they felt cheated though.

What money? hahahahaha. After 2 months I'm close to $4,- now. No, I guess if people wanna make real money online there are better ways. It's fun to be here and that's it. What is no fun is that 2 discussions were deleted this morning and one was really interesting.

People here are not really for the money. Let's do the Math. You make 100 posts a day which is roughly equivalent to $1, but doing it is like you're in a forced labor mode. You will not be happy while doing it because you aim for the money and not for the discussion. The quality of your post may get affected too because of that. I have made more than 30 posts in a day but I was really tired doing that. If you want to really earn money from here, try having more active referrals.
