Several factors need to be taken into consideration to solve your problem. Have you ruled out everything else and think that a low count is the only problem?

Hi dear, There is no harm to experiment it and the walnut is good for health too. So ask him to take the same regularly for a period of time. Think positive and encourage him, I think the trust on something is always having an important role. If both of you trust and it will help you then it will be. Going for a treatment is also good. If possible take ayurvedic treatment for your hubby’s problem. Best of luck dear.

dear friend surekha, good morning and wish you happy new yewar in advance. My friend need not to worry let him do as he wants because as the university of california has done a study and published article by them "eating 70-75grms of walnut everyday helps to increase spermcount because walnuts are rich in omega3 and omega6 which are thought to be good for development of sperm and their functions. also the same study has been done by UCLA'S SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH....... have a great day ahead!!!!!

I am not sure with this eating walnut will increase the sperm count. But I do believe that taking Vitamin E can make it healthy, especially for the couples who cannot have their own child. It is taken religiously by males.

I think that he might be right. But I had to look it up. I think that the cost depends on what is in your budget. But using natural ways to increase health and life productivity, I think are much better ways to go about it if it works. So here is an article that I found. A new report out suggests men consuming walnuts up sperm count for quality measure. Men who've had complications being fertile might benefit from this new research, according to CBS News. Researchers at UCLA have discovered new evidence claiming that men who ate 75 grams of walnuts (about half a cup) per-day for 12 weeks improved the quality of their sperm. The researchers state that 70 million couples cope with sub-fertility or infertility globally. In 30 to 50 percent of those statistics, the problem has to do with the man's fertility issues. How did the experts come up with walnuts improving quality sperm count? They asked 58 healthy, qualified men between 21 and 35 years-old to eat half a daily dose of walnuts. Another group of 59 had to avoid eating tree nuts. Most of the men ate raw walnuts, some combined them in other dishes. They would add ground up walnuts to hamburgers or mix them with applesauce and cinnamon. After the 12-week experiment was concluded, the men who ate the walnuts had improved shape, movement, and vitality of sperm. There was also less chromosomal abnormalities detected in sperm. The other group of 59 men who avoided tree nuts had no changes in any form. The findings in this study published August 15 in Biology of Reproduction, doesn't completely prove walnuts up sperm count, but it proves the importance of how diets in general can impact health and fertility.
