I cashed out a few days ago at a ptc site 2.29. Payout was 2.00. Today I go to site, and my balance is almost 3.00 there. I read an email that says they changed payouts to 4.00. Now, I dont have as much of a problem with them changing payouts on us. But after a payout is done, they should pay, then change them. What do you think?

This certainly sounds like a rather dubious practice. It is not uncommon for a new site to offer a low payout to encourage people to enrol and participate, then move the goalposts once several members have reached the target. If they simply do not pay then the site will close, but choosing a new threshold tempts members to strive to reach it.
The site may well turn out to be genuine and the payout may have been changed for other reasons, but it definitely does look suspicious.

I dont even mind them making it higher, as the site paid me 3 times already. I do not think its fair to put money that was already cashed out back into acct. and raise the cashout there.

Yes, you are right. But its the way they did this. No email or anything. Just put money in acct. and raised payouts. Seems kinda wrong to me.

yes, I am. They paid me the firs time 1.13 and no problem or delays. Then raised to 2.00 now to 4.00. Not good. Hello there...

I totally agree with you on that maria. That if they are going to change your payout then they should at least give you the payout you reached first and then change it for the next month. To me it sounds like a scam, I would try to hit the 4.00 payout and see what happens next time around since you are only 1.00 away and if they go up again, then I would forget about it because then it sounds like a scam then.

very true, its was 60 cents, then 1.00. then 2.00 now 4.00. The other increases were announced. But this one, they just gave the money back and changed it. Makes me wonder now..

I agree with many others, that sounds like one of the first signs of a scam, or at least signs of them having problems. If they did it once you tried to cash out, that probably means they have no money available to pay you right now. I would just watch out!

This site is very unstable and inconsistent.
In my past experience, I am sure it will not last for long even though if you are lucky to be paid for your first payment.
For me, I shall quit once I collect my first payment because the existing balance of $3.00 is about to reach the new cash out threshold at $4.00 .
I think you must react smart to this site too.

I think you are right. As they went from 60 cents, 1.00, 2.00 now 4.00 payouts. Seems like a scam sign to me. Have a great day there.

Yes, absolutely, they should pay if you reached payout before the change. I don't like payouts to be changed anyway. It's discouraging to work so hard and think you made it and then find out you have to work harder. But, it's even worse when you have no reason to think you can't get your money and then find out you can't.

Red flag! If a site changes its payout minimum just when you've reached the payout then it's a sure sign the site may turn scam. Who is to say the site won't increase the payout minimum once you reach the new payout minimum? Better steer clear of such sites.

I agree.. you know when a site goes from no min. to 2.00 to 5.00 in 2-3 months something has to wrong. How are you these days?

This is never a positive sign as changing payment terms could be the first sign of them going scam so be on the look-out for more signs.

I assume it was a legit site, I was paid 3 times before this. This was my 4th time to cash out there.

I feel you on this. It is totally unfair what they did. You should have gotten your 2 dollar payout first. They do this because they have either no intention of paying or they want to push it off. Watch out that they don't change it to you having to be an upgraded member in order to cash out. They do that also.
