My name is JenInTn and I am a professed stalker of interesting people and topics. I just can't resist them.

I think it is perfectly natural to be interested to a point that may jokingly referred to as stalking - I have been guilty of this too. Is this an extension of your Mylot Crush post?

I stalk anybody who has interesting discussions....

How do you define mylot stalking? If you check their discussion on a regular basis and respond to a few, or if you hound their every mylot-move? There are a few users who I check the discussions of and if I find some that I want to reply to, then I do. But I really hope that doesn't qualify as stalking. I don't feel like a stalker when I do it... The only user I 'hound the every mylot move' of is my sister. I'm the mylot veteran and she's the newbie, I gotta make sure she's being a good mylot citizen!

I guess, we get curious and interested to just follow a certain member because of the kind of posts that he/she makes. And I am as well guilty of that. You are not alone, LovingMyBabies!

It looks to me like another one of those - Lamb gets a bit of Loving discussions lol I tend to follow a few around here. I'd not go as far as to say I 'stalk' anyone, rather that I show more than a tad of interest in them and their activities. You are a fun-loving gal and I am sure you cheer many a soul up here.

hi LovingMyBabies I have followed a number of people i was c urioous about not to do harm just to find out more but I did respoond and comm ent often to them and they did become myfriends too. One and her dog Gissi will be in my heart forever as she is such a warm sweet lady and not really well and her little dog is a gem. Sheis now mostly on FaceBook. I too have never stalked anyone in r ule life.But I was stalked and almost killed by a young man emotionally disturbed who wanted to force me to marry him. Thank heave the c afe had two strong big waiters who pulled him off my throat. He later w ent to prison for amost killing another woman who refused his advances. lol.thats the unpleasant kind of stalker.

A stalker by definition is a person who follows another person to trace his where about usually for ill intent. This is what I think so. But after checking on other myLotters' discussions I realize that is has other meanings, like peeking at other people responses. If that is the definition then I am also guilty of being a stalker too. I sometimes peek into other response before I response, not all the times.

You know, I really think that we are all stalkers to a certain degree when it comes to our activity on mylot. Seriously because for me, the vast majority of the discussions that I respond to are discussions that my friends have started on here and that does pretty much mean that I'm stalking my mylot friends so that I can add my own input to the discussions that they've started. However, being the kind of stalker that I am on here, I am not the kind of person that is slandering or intentionally hurting other people in any way. Instead, I'm stalking them to make them feel good.

Sometimes you get friend requests totally out of left field that you wonder how this or that person ever thought of wanting to be your myLot friend. Or sometimes you get a very controversial response to a discussion which makes you very interested in knowing more about the person. I think these are the grounds that make me want to 'stalk' other people here on myLot. So, I'm guilty too.

Nope I can't say I have but then again I have not had that much time to spend here. The person you have been stalking noticed the stalk yet and fled or you managed to become friends?

I guess I am too. There are a few people I like to follow. Gifts is one. She puts up lots of discussions and I can make a decent amount just commenting on her discussions. I like to follow you, and a couple other people. I don't care much about commenting on people I don't relate to.

Hmm good question, I don't know. I probably have and I just don't know it. Some times I think on here I have stalkers but I call they are just found of me and like to fallow what I have to say and that is it. If it gets to too personal then yeah I think they are stalking and me and it creeps me out but I have a lot of friends that like to fallow my discussions that it. I fallow a lot of people in there discussion especially if we have a lot of things in common.

I think I am sometimes as well. I have a few members here. I love their posts. I go right after them, as soon as I see them here. Are you one of mine? Happy new years... See you here next year. Bright and shiney eyed as always...

I have never stalked anyone here its kinda hard to find people unless they are on my friend list are start discussion of my interest . I see people stalked me on other social network such as facebook though . Good for you to admit it lol , now I wonder why you stalked those 3 people .

I stalk people here and on Facebook. I do it for fun,too. I don't do it anywhere else. I did have a stalker on Mylot about two years ago who stalked me for like 6 months. If I have that problem again I am do more to do something about it! I didn't before and went through hell! that won't happen ever again!

I do visit discussions, where I just read through but not participate. I visit profiles too. What's the big deal Loving..... myLot is an 'open book'

What constitutes "stalking" as opposed to "getting to know"? I think it has something to do with 'shared intention' ... I know this is supposed to be a 'fun' discussion, but using the word "stalking" should indicate a more-serious accusation/confession. When I was involved with a couple of (I think) 'inappropriate' mini-churches--people who were kinda getting together 'in the name of Jesus' without paying any mind to the fact that I should be a more-respected pillar of His kingdom--my main intention there was to 'meet a woman' (which I went about a little 'wrong' because I do not have the usually wife-magnet men are taught that they need---an abundant income). Well, they weren't having that. These were people who had all that 'family-building'-stuff all taken care of at home and -who now wanted to 'participate in massive charities-etc. (like donating money to pay for water in Africa). So being there 'looking for a wife' while everyone else was 'looking to help raise funds' made me end up "pretty stalker-y."

Well, we stalk everyone on here to post on their discussion so if that makes us a stalker then have fun stalking. Whatever floats yer stalking boat, personally I'd rather stalk someone than be stalked but that is only me. Stalkingly true. Hmmm, now you've got me wondering what's in stalk for us all on mylot.
