Hi Zearah, good to be back from last year's vacation. I think that if the organ producing sperm will not be affected by the cathether, it would not affect its production, and it will still be normal. It may be good to get a professional advice from someone who had a better knowledge and skills to determine if your friend can still be normal again, in terms of sperm production or the art of baby-making.

Hello nice to see you again. I am so thankful for the opportunity you offered to my father but unfortunately it was unsuccessful since I left Davao and started my work here in Doha, Qatar. Hope and pray for our prosperous year.

We need more info to better answer your question. Getting cathed one time in order to produce a lab sample isn't going to effect anyone's sperming abilities. As far as prolonged I really don't know myself. As a cna I used to help out the nurses while they cathed patients but that was in the retirement home and nobody was trying to make babies there. He really needs to ask his doctor about medical advice.

It is still possible, since the catheter is inserted to male's urethra. The passage for the urine to be extracted from the kidney. Happy New Year!
