Does anyone have a paypal card? Could you tell me how it works? I've seen paypal cards for sale like any regular gift card, but I don't know how it works. Do you have to enter a code? Can you use it like a regular gift card? Thanks

Well, I have a PayPal debit card that was issued in my name from PayPal. With particular type of card, I am able to use it the same way that I would use a card that was issued by my bank. I am able to use it to make debit purchases with cash back and I am also able to use it like a credit card as long as I have adequate funds in my PayPal account.
If you were to by a PayPal stored value card, I would assume that this particular type of card would be used the same way that you would use any of the other stored value cards that you can buy at the store.

Theres two types... a paypal "gift card" like what you get from something like swagbucks...which you request and it applies directly to your account like a payment from mylot does. My understanding is that there aren't gift cards to purchase and give people to apply to their accounts but you can transfer money like sending a payment.
There is also the Paypal debit card. Which From what i understand you need to have a premium or business paypal account. (it might be Premier) The account needs to be linked to either a visa or a bank account and you request the debit card through paypal. This card draws on funds you have in paypal as well as funds through visa or your bank account if there isnt enough in the paypal account.

Of course I have a personal pay pal account. I was just curious because I have seen these cards for purchase at various stores and kmart and other stores will accept a payppal debit card. I thought there was some way you could transfer the money onto your card just like a regular debit card.
Thank you both for your repsonses.
