The media had made the story so sensational and the people of the world had reacted for being worried. Did you panic? But then, the hot issue came across the newspapers, articles or even in news. The viewers and the consumers contributed with the success of their ratings. We realized that the prediction is not true. What will be the next? Are we still going to believe in his prophecy? What do you think?

Aka, Nostradamus was interesting psychic in the 1550s. Many people came to him for psychic advice and horoscope reading. One of his predictions was the reigning of Adolfo hitler and the world war 2. But he was using riddles in French so people would really think when, who or where he was Ssaying. Another prediction of Nostradamus was the assassination of Kennedy and
The man in bush who was kenedy's assassin. http://www.december2012endofworld.com/nostradamus-2012
You can check on that link to know him better.

Well, I always believe that although their would be prophecies, it is not 100% likely to happen. Or we might have misinterpreted the prophecy.

I agree with you Madam Jenny. Most of the prophecies are misinterpreted.
I heard that this prediction by Nostradamus was actually linked or was pertaining to the New World Order. I'm not sure but I think do.

Hello, my virual son! I respect those people sho belueve in the predictions.but I am not the kind of person that can easily belueve those. I would just be scaring myself. Besides, I have always bueved that God wouldno longer destroy our world. Ifthere would be changes in the years to come, it will nit be caused by God, but by uncaring people.
we might even not be able to witness the end of the world.

I think predictions can be made by any one with a bit of vision and intelligence of things to come but it may happen on any given time Nostradamus did predicts of things to come and a lot did come to pass and maybe a lot is still to come[ and we know for sure ] that will happen. Technology has advanced humans to an incredible level what we do from here is up to us to use it in a way that would benefit our life in the future.

I believe in what the Bible says that no one will know the date or time of Jesus return. People who predict things don't always get things right. I am sure there will be some new prediction, but as more and more people are wrong the less people will believe that it will happen.

A real one could but should they? I don't think so, and using it to their own advantage would probably make the gift go away.

I have read about the predictions of Nostradamus. Many of his predictions came to be true. But I don't know what he had predicted about 2012.So I can't comment on whether we should ccontinue to believe his predictions or not. After all Nostradamus too was a human being like you and me.May be he had some special powers that others don't have. Moreover many of his predictions proved to be correct. So I think,we can't ignore him.We have to keep a close watch on what has been taking place around the world.

Yes,may be his calculations went wrong somewhere and what he predicted may be going to take place later.Or,may be he was completely wrong and the predicted events would never take place.Anything may happen.Let us keep fingers crossed. We can't ignore Nostradamus and we can't overestimate him.He may be wrong and he may be right.

People have a different set of interpretations to his predictions. Maybe some of his predictions are true to one era or period of history, we really cannot tell. A lot of things can happen that can change the course of our tomorrow.

This end of the world thing becomes a joke in our office, we sometimes reasons out that we can't finish our job or we will not be able to make up for christmas or new year because by December 21, the world will end already..
Unfortunately, it never happen..and we really don't know if it will ever happen... Just make out the best everyday, and be happy.. -Happy Mylotting--

Hi Shavkat: I think the problem with prophecies is that people don't understand them after things happen . So they are useless. It's very common to find out on tv programs how Nostradamus or another person that made prophecies "predict" a future event. But you realize that people didn't understand their prophecies after things actually happen. It's all a matter of interpretation. I prefer not to believe in prophecies.

hi,
i can not blame Nostradamus prediction because it was only a prediction, possible to happen and not possible to happen, but we can use it as warning on what possible will happen to us,in his prediction many people felt afraid and some of them prepared on that prediction.there is no wrong or problem when we believe in the prophecy of people.

What are actually his 2012 predictions? Is it the end of the world thing? Sorry but I am not seeing most of the news for the past months so I don't have a clue what's his predictions.
I don't also think that there is a need to blame anyone, particularly Nostradamus. We must be thankful at least that nothing bad had happen. Normally predictions are just predictions. It might or might not happen. They foresee things... that most of the time serves as a warning.

We can't blame Nostradamus they did't say that the world is going to be end at 2012 it's the media who done this.According to their calender it was the last date but that does't mean the world is going to end...

Should we blame someone on this? Can we just be thankful that all the drama, and all the tv shows trying to decipher, trying to understand, interpret ancient texts and all did not happen, and not in our time, hence we have been given more time to change what we do not want in our lives, and so on.
I think that this was all hyped up for marketing of companies to earn money - people who build bunkers, for people who hoarded a lot of food in cans, etc, for book readers who got curious who wanted to know more, for the tv station for producing a lot tv shows related to every topic you can think of... its just a lot of market, you know. =) Depends on all of us how we would react to every news we read or hear in tvs or radios.

I didn't panic cause I did not believe it. The bible clearly states that: in Mathew 24:36, "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."
Who else would brag of being more knowledgeable than Christ himself is a false prophet.

Someone somewhere has confused things - I don't think Nostradamus had anything to do with this particular prediction, I think it's down entirely to the Mayans. However, Deuteronomy 13:1-5 and, I think, one other passage tell us that God allows, and perhaps causes false prophets to make true predictions. Nostradamus is a primary case of this, but an even nearer to the bone case is the interpretations some make of "The Bible Code". It seems to me that the latter contains accurate predictions when looked at in retrospect, but when people try to use it to make further predictions it meets them with mockery: "Will it be in 2006 or 2010 or 2012?" (I quote from memory - I may not have got this quite right). Its message is clear: Go to what the Bible says plainly.

I think that his 2012 prophecy made him fail himself. This only proved that his prophecies have no solid basis. The only prophecy I believe are those that are found in the Bible.

Dont mind all those dooms day predictors because they are over stepping their boundary. The knowledge about the future belongs to the all mighty GOD JEHOVAH, SEE MATTHEW 24 VERSES 36=39. SO NO ONE HAS THAT KNOWLEDGE.
