I ran for my life.

This was when I was a little boy. Trust me, I never was LOL!
I was walking down the street and I saw an ugly looking dog all covered in dirt and mud. While I was walking I kept staring at him because he looked so ferocious and thirsty. I was feeling scared already. I felt so nervous and I just wanted to escape the scene so I started running. I soon realized that was my unlucky day. The dog started running after me. As I ran faster the dog ran faster enough to maintain the distance. I guess he was just playing with me. I forgot everything and kelp on running, shouting and eventually crying. The girls watched me and they're laughing at me ever since then. At that moment I didn't really care who was watching me. I was just running to save my life. LOL.
Some men stopped the dog and eased me. Thanks to them.
Whoa! What a wonderful experience to remember!

that's really scary yet funny very detailed, I'm also afraid of dogs before. But one of my friends who has a pet dog told me that the dogs has a strong instinct, if the person is afraid with them. The more you are in fear and troubled from their presence they are more furious esp. when you stare better to pretend that your not intimidated with their presence

Thats good observation. Dogs don't mind if we just don't pay any attention to them and just keep walking. But if we are scared then they don't let the chance go away. I would advice anyone not to stare at dogs or even be afraid of them.

That's common experience that most of us have of our childhood, I remember there were instances when a dog had chased me..still I would say by no means it was a wonderful experience.

I'm so sorry that you don't like to remember your experience. I guess it was even more painful than it was to me. In my case, it's a fun to remember experience. I usually laugh out loud when I remember my funny and stupid childhood adventures.

Yeah, most of our neighbors are always annoying. There are always good reasons to hate them LOL. I hated my neighbors once for having very naughty kids. They used to steal something and make fun of me.

Though I am smiling after reading your comment at this time, I still remember how much I hated my neighbors for having such a bad dog.

I am so sorry for that, but trust me even i could not stop laughing. Not laughing on your condition, but the way you have written the story, it really makes anyone laugh. Thanks for making me laugh because i haven't laughed in a while. Well speaking about dogs, i think you did the right thing because i have seen some fatal news where street dogs have killed the kids who were walking down the streets alone in day. They are not looked after and given food so it makes them go mad and ferocious in real. I am really sorry to say i laughed but i did not wanted to lie.

Trust me, this was intended to be funny. You made me feel really good when you said that you actually laughed, it made me feel like I accomplished something. I really appreciate you being honest and saying that you laughed. I myself was laughing all the way in my mind (my cool little world) when I did this discussion.
Many incidents occur in our lives when we shouldn't be taking things so seriously but we do. And we laugh when we remember such incidents.

Yeah, that's why I think mischief is good sometimes. It creates a lot of fun memories and makes life worth living. Whenever I'm depressed I think of all the sweet experiences I've had and that I should never give up. Life is beautiful.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Ha ha ha, that was indeed a funny incident in your life but trust me any one in your place would have ran for life. You can risk it by staring at that ferocious dog like that, u never know that dog might bite u very hard. It was better u ran but i have always felt that if u stare at a dog continuously or tease it then it will chase u for sure.
What say?

Yeah, never stare a dog straight in the eyes. If you do it and just start running I guarantee the dog will come running after you. And never let a dog know that you're scared. If you make silly mistakes then you're trouble. I have a strong feeling that you've experienced this too.

It is really scary to encounter stray dogs on the street. A mighty bite from them will cause a lot of damages. One to consider is the rabies, some stray dogs are not vaccinated, though the dogs should be on leash. Otherwise, the dog catcher can just put them away.

I see your point. Diseases caused due to dog bites are known to man. That's why they don't keep any stray dogs in the cities. But there are rural areas and villages where nobody cares and dog bites are quite common.
