is one hour of changing enough for you?

If I see that I only have one hour left for changing, I'd be in panic mode already. I think one hour is not enough for me because the make-up alone would take up much time. Then comes looking for a dress to wear. That would take time too, most especially when it needs to be ironed. The very last concern would be waiting for a ride. This too eats up a lot of time, so for me, normally I'd need about two hours to be comfortably doing my business of preparing to go out. Less than that I'd be panicking already.
Is this the same thing with you? I know some people would need only 30 minutes or even less.

This is one reason drama-professionals are often seen as 'gay': because men are more-efficient. Oh, women are DEFINITELY "worth the wait" when they're given enough preparation-time; but 'the world doesn't wait long enough,' and--with guys--it's time to 'actually go' (ready or not) when it's time to go!

This is so true cutie, I remember one time when I was going out with my girlfriend. It was a late party that we should reach at 10 pm. It takes about half an hour to reach the party from our house so she say she is going to ready by 9:30. I say no, by 9 o clock. 9 o clock came and as far as i can see, she is ready for the party. When all of a sudden I see make up coming and other things going on. I decided to walk out of the house to feel the cool breeze. 9:30 came and she isn't ready. 10 o clock and still no. 10:30 and she said that she will be soon ready.
After everything I looked at her and she really looked stunning and beautiful but to be honest she always look beautiful to me anyway so even at 9 o clock she looked absolutely amazing. Found it hard to understand why she took ove a hour and half trying to look even more beautiful. Wasn't she afraid that she might damage some boys' eyes. We reached the party after 11 o clock.
After every

It is. You have to go ahead and wait for us at the party because women, especially if it's a party or something special, would need even more time. For me, three hours to prepare for a party is sort of not enough. There's a lot to do in this situation.

I'm one of those 30 minutes or less people. I hate waking up in the morning so changing quickly means that I can sleep longer and don't have to wake up. If I go to bed really early and have no problem waking up then I take more time getting ready but usually I just use 15 minutes to wash my face and put some clothes on.

I think for is enough and maybe it's more minutes I just remember working in a 5 star hotel in Saudi, normally preparing myself before going to work takes 30 to 45 minutes but after a year doing such routine I change it into 20 minutes only. While walking from my room to the elevetor I am fixing my clothes and my tie. I need to walk from the staff compound building about 50 steps to enter the hotel. After the elevator open for me to go out, instead of walking, I'll do running.

How do you two do it, I find it hard to choose what to wear while in the morning when it is time to leave. I always seem to choose what to wear the night before or couple hours before. If i cant choose, I usually narrow down my options to a very few things, try them on hours before and the ones I really am satisfy with, I place down in plain site when it is time to get ready. No need for me to iron them cause they are usually iron long before. Just in case they are not iron though, usually rush for the iron and try to run them out as fast as possible when I am in a hurry. Crushed clothes look horrible.

I won't make it an hour. ha ha that's too short for me, I admit I'm so damn slow in preparing myself for changing I don't like rushing in taking my shower, choosing clothes to wear and putting make up and other stuff. I always want to look good outside my planet home. ha ha. I agree 2 hours would be perfectly enough to fix myself. :)

Now most men, including myself would see an hour as too much time for changing! I probably spend too much eating breakfast and on my computer compared to getting ready, mind you everything is washed and ironed on a weekly basis, so I just choose what I want to wear and put it on. I only shave and put moisturizer on twice a week and I do that at the gym, so a quick shower and dressed in thirty minutes max!

Yeah, I go for an hour, but it's never enough. And I don't even wear makeup. I always have to look for something. Then, I have kids that I have to get ready. When my kids are involved, I need at least a couple hours. Sometimes it's so hard to get out of the house.

30 minutes is too long for me (lols)
I prepare my clothes a day before and in case of unplanned invitation, I have my clothes ironed hanging on my closet to choose from.
I always iron my clothes after washing.
I do not wear make-up, just a little brush of powder and lipgloss for everyday.
Maybe in a very special occasion, a light touch of eyeshadow, mascara and light shade of lipstick is fine.

I am a man let me tell you one hour is too much. That is definitely too much. What do you actually consider by changing. I usually take the most time bathing, I love my bathroom and then I usually rush while putting on my clothes. But if I have to eat in that hour then the time is going to expire because I do not like to rush while eating. I just can't manage that.

With make up it takes me 30 minutes to get myself ready. With my children having to get ready also however I would need an hour since there's three of them...

My mother has three children to get ready for school. I am not included .
When is time for school she usually wake them up at 5 o' clock in the morning and they leave the house by 7 o' clock. SO that is basically 2 hours. I have to say though it is hard to get little kids ready. One time mommy left them with me and it felt so straining to do especially when they wont listen.

One hour is enough for me to get myself done.. that includes make up., I only wear light makeup so it doesn't consume a lot of time.. sometimes it is lesser.. some people really needs a lot of time to made up them selves because they really wanna look good .. like my sister she needs a lot of time to change and have make up and when she is finish the room was totaly a mess..

Takes about 30 mins for me. Shower, jeans, decent shirt and sneakers. If i'm dressing up I change to boots. No makeup for me. Never liked to wear it. Which is a shame. Some women look so nice with the hair and make up done. I was raised by my dad and he was army so we learned that fast and pratical was more important than pretty. My poor daughter is in to the hair and make up and things. I never did learn all that.

Reddog you remind me of my neighbour. SHe isn't the type to where make up either, and I mean none at all and it is due to how she is grown.
Cutie dont get me wrong makeup looks great on a girl but I am a bit afraid of too much. One time we had a party at our school and I passed my friend sitting on the bench. I reversed and observed her because I thought it was life size dolly . I mean her face was so full of make up, you had no idea of how she really looked. She was a girl of dark complexion, and after makeup she was so brown, with bright pink cheeks. I mean her cheeks were really pink. Her lips were extra red. I dont have a problem with the lips, I like when a girl wears lipstick or lick gloss. She had on extra long eye lashes, and it continued. The coalescence of everything together made it unbearable. She looked so cute, but cute just to play with like a toy.

if it's from the moment i wake up, i'd take about 30 min to get ready. that includes taking a shower, having a cup of coffee and changing. the taking shower and cup of coffee is what i do whenever i wake up. it doesn't matter if i'm going out or not.
if i am already up and about at home, i'd take ten minutes tops to get ready and leave home. i am lazy so i don't put on any make up because i feel that it's troublesome to have to remove them later. as for clothes, i just grab whatever i feel like wearing at that point of time. of course i'll take the occasion into consideration but that's it. i don't have a lot of clothes so i don't have to take a long time to choose.
i never buy clothes that needs to be ironed so i don't have to spend time on ironing as well.

One hour of changing is enough for me. I even wake up sometimes one hour before the class will start and then I won't get late haha.

Hi Cutie18f, it depends the changing is for what purpose. Surely make up, choosing best dress, etc takes up a lot of time. But as long as it is not for my big wedding day, or any special VIP dinner, i take only less than 30minutes to change. My fastest time record is to get ready within 5minutes.

Yes, I take two hours too. Oh my goodness. But it's the shower that takes a lot of time, it takes even longer if I'm enjoying the warm water, xD sometimes I get stuck in the shower just thinking about a lot of things. Then yes, there's make-up and looking for clothes. I don't like going out without carefully picking out my clothing so. That why it takes so much time. I know men take less than 30 mins but that's because they don't have to put so much thing son t he selves like lotions, make-up and stuff. I need those, can't o out without them. :)
