conflict: having goals and having fun

We all know our reason or reasons why we are here. A few would dare say it's for the money. Others are open about their intention, and that is simply to enjoy and have fun. I think I have both goals in mind too, but many seasoned members here always remind us to just have fun and enjoy what we are doing here. Well and good. I do have that enjoyment part, I love sharing and interacting. However, there are times when I want to reach a specific amount and so it makes me have goals.
In having goals, like I have to do this and that number of discussions, I have to post this many discussions because I want to get a particular amount, then the fun part of the activity takes a back seat. What do you think?
Do you have goals too? I don't want to say no because in reality I secretly want to get over 30 cents per day. That's my goal everyday. Does this rub me of the fun aspect of doing what I am doing here? I don't think so. Even if my mind is focused on this goal, I think I am still enjoying everything because I feel like I am competing with myself.
Do you feel the same way too? Do you have goals or you just pass away the time without thinking of goals?

I want to exceed from earning more than 30 cents a day to reached the payout every month but due to the time limitations I cannot make it everyday here. I am also busy with my offline business so the idle time attending customers is the only time I can give to my friends here sharing and interacting. If I am a full time here maybe I can maintain the goals of earnings more than 2 dollars everyday. I already tried and it was working.

As Renhard stated, having goals and being able to have fun whilst achieving is completely gratuitous. If your fun, equals to your goals being maximized then you often realize you will consistently break your own barriers. But there are times when fun has to be pushed aside, for goal orientation and focus. And more often than not, you don't have the same intent. I joined this site because a friend asked me too. He wanted a referral something. I don't know what that is, and I didn't even know that I could make money, he knew my love for talking and going on and on, and figured I would have fun. My goal here, sadly I don't have one, but if I am too choose one, it has to maximize my fun whilst it's being done or it's gonna be a forgotten toy on the dusty shelf :/. Hope I helped.

I'm not gonna lie. At first, my goal here is to make money. But as I participate and get to see other discussions and I can share my opinion and also learn new things, I have come to enjoy being here everyday and got so addicted. Now my goal is to earn, learn and enjoy. Sometimes I get s carried away of reading and discussing and sharing my opinion that on the next day when I log on back, I get shocked almost that I earn high amounts and I never even noticed that I am working for it because I am enjoying what I do here.

You are absolutely right. I am like you. I do have goals and I am having fun. It is the best combination. To have fun while aiming for your goals. Though there are times when I forget about my goal completely and just decide to have fun. There are other times I would really appreciate a little cash to spend so I try my best to reach my daily goals. But most days its a mixture of both and with a mixture, I usually find it easier to reach my goals. Because sometimes I dont even notice that I might have already past my daily goal.

Hi friends i agree with you both. if we have goal it will boost /motivate us to participate more. At least this happens to me. I want and i kept it like that that every month minimum amount should go to my bank account from mylot and this really motivates me for participate here.

I enjoy mylot once in awhile but I don't really have a set goal for here. But generally my goal is to get as much as a I can on earning here through mylot. I have goals but seems I am not really using them. Generally my main goal is to get a job or have job offers and to earn and save money.
I'm still enjoying what I do. Sometimes I even pass time without thinking of goals. Sometimes if I mention about having goals and making promises on them, I end up not doing them. I feel whatever passes by is my goal. LOL!

I do have so much fun here! But I also do have some goals too. I don't think its any less fun because of goals, it just helps to give us some motivation...

When it comes to Mylot I have never had any goals or targets that I have set myself, I never worry how much I earn or how many discussions I start and/or respond to. The important thing is my friends that I make here and the interesting discussions they start, I see Mylot as pure enjoyment, escapism and therapy.

Hi
i agree there is nothing wrong in keeping goals it doesn't rub us off from having fun. Though i too have fun here i too have some goal . Though we are having fun the main thing of coming here is money no one can deny it. Of course there are very few who don't come here for money .
Every one has their point and there is nothing wrong in it.
