Couch surfer's moving out!

2012 was the Year of the Couch Surfer for my roommate and me. First it was my sister losing her apartment thanks to *her* roomies, then a friend of my roommate needed crash space so he could take a job here in Sacramento. We do what we can when family and friends need help, but I am SO glad to have our common space -- the living room/kitchen and bathroom part of the place -- unoccupied again!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your case and i think when u have all members of your family together then it is a different feeling. For a while it seems as if world has shrinked for you. i know leaving an apartment was an unfortunate event and i think she has to take this sportingly and should think positive rather.

My sister moved into her new apartment the same day my roommate's friend moved in here, so they were not both sleeping here at the same time. That would have been impossible. It definitely has changed how we all look at one another, though not all for the good. I'm mostly glad it's almosy over, at least for now.
