It's been a week that passed by when I suffered insomia due to stress and over fatigue I think.I tried to gather information and search some reliable site and found that melatonin is the most prescribed effective sleeping feels in town.I am taking the risk to gamble my hralth just for the hope that I can have adeep sleep at night now.In fact I already gave up and sacrifice my night part time job just to have at least 8 hours of sleep but I failed.L don't wanna surrender.I want to hear some testimonials from those who experince taking up this sleeping pills.

I take Melatonin as well. I feel no side effects from it all. It's better than taking the prescribed sleeping pills, in my opinion.

I've tried melatonin a few times and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. I think it depends on what a person needs at the time. Our bodies make melatonin but with artificial lighting and stimulation, things get mixed up. I think that on some days that could be my problem but other days it's something else so that the melatonin didn't work every time.

I've used melatonin off and on for over twenty years. It works better than prescribed sleeping pills and has almost no side effects and no hangover. The only side effect I've had was vivid dreams. Not necessarily nightmares but rather noteworthy dreams.

How wonderful to experience dreams while sleeping. It's been a while since I had a deep sleep that really satisfy my feeling especially dreaming. By the way they say that dreams are your feelings being not spoken or some says that is the foressen for the future, What do you think about it?

I first took melatonin years ago. The ones I bought were the 5 mg, when they also had two. I was sure my level of insomnia warrented the higher dose. After the first time, and feeling very tired all too quick, I started breaking them in half. The sleep was pretty restful, and when I took the lower dose I needed, I would feel refreshed when I awoke. It has been a couple of years since I have taken them, as I am able to fall asleep much more soon that I am able to now. Though the times I did need them, I liked the effectiveness and not feeling like I needed them, unlike many other sleeping medications I had taken.

I haven't tried taking any sleeping pill in my life. I was an insomniac back in the day but I never tried any pill. This is my first time therefore to hear of melatonin. Can anyone buy this without prescription?

well, i have taken them with no ill side effects and the thing is, my not sleeping, you are probably doing your body more of a disservice than taking a small dose of melatonin. the smallest amount i think you can get is 3mg so that is where i would start.
by not sleeping, your body does not allow itself to repair itself.

I am glad you found this natural remedy. Melatonin is naturally made by the body. SOme don't make enough of it. People really should try the melatonin before getting prescription sleeping pills.

I never tried this sleeping pills but my father Inlaw did. I asked him about it and he said it really work. Eating turkey will make you fall sleep too cuz it has natural substance in their body that compose melatonin.

Hi, Daisy! I hope you could somehow help yourself to sleep without the aid of any pill. Do have a check on this link: http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/melatonin-not-magic-bullet-sleep
It says there that although Melatonin could tell you that it is already time for you to sleep, it will not however be a cure for insomnia.
