The spirit of the glass is an evil craft to do try. Some people are scared to try having this enchanting to a piece of board and glass on the table. They believed that your enchanting evil spirits, but some insisted that the loved ones are the one intersect during the session. I had seen some movies, they pray first before doing this. Believing that the evil spirit will not harm them, but then why do they still need to pray. In my opinion, the prayers are not connected to have this spirit of the glass? What do you think?

I have never heard of that but it sounds a bit like what we call a Ouija Board. I can see why people pray before they play the game, if so. I had an experience where the Ouija Board smashed across the room and I felt a horrid presence in that room for hours after the session ended. That scared me off contacting spirits, whether it is a game or not. I have heard that games such as the glass and Ouija open the doors to your soul so that evil can seep in. I am not usually superstitious or fearful but contacting spirits is not something I'll ever do again. I think there is good reason for those people to pray before playing but they would do better to avoid it altogether.

Never heard of this game. Can you explain it to me? Most people if they are spirit handlers always pray before a session, and this is to help keep evil spirits away. I don't know of anyone who believes the evil spirits won't hurt them.

I never heard of this one. But, in any form of witchcraft. spirits are ask t come and protect the ones who are performing. The glass sould like its just the tool. But, if you know, bad spirits will come through, than why would you even try it.

I think spirit of the glass is true. I swear it on my dads sisters account, cause she already tried it. And on her experience, she said it was really frightening And the glass really did move on it's own. Like it is moving on it's own. It's scary. So yep, I'd pray too. XD

But it did scare me that time and now i dont want to try doing that again and will not even suggest playing it.

Yes it was and after that, we never tried it again.
After few years, we were joking about it and wonder if someone moved the glass or did it moved by itself. Still, it was an experience.
Lights out and glass started moving....scary,lols!

I've been into spirit of the glass with different groups of people in my early years, the first procedure to begin playing is to pray first one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be, but never mention the the word "Amen" and never show any sign of the holy cross gestures.
Keep on repeat asking the glass "Spirit of the Glass are you In?", never give up asking and wait for the glass to response.
It should be play with at least 4 or 5 people held their pointing and middle fingers together on the bottom-up of the glass to touch very lightly.
No need to put any pressure while touching the glass for a smooth traveling to any directions of the board.

I agree with you there is no need to pray to be or stay safe for bad spirits. Spirits (the "mind" of a person) are there all around us. It's not said they can only harm you (if so) this way. There are all kind of sessions but also without a session you can be able to see/meet them. I think the praying is because people like that are raised in some religion. They are raised and told what is from the devil or bad or left handed and what is (according to someone) god or good or right handed. BTW this way of asking/ordering a spirit to tell you what you want is not the way. A spirit will not let anyone force it to show up on command. No matter what way you use. If it comes to evil/bad, this is what humans make out it themselves.

so scared of the spirit of the glass... so i guess the mere thought of it really drives me crazy. I don't like it in fact and discouraging teenagers to do it. Real or not, i really don't give a fuzz but i don't like it because I know that it something not normal to do. Not normal way to have and generate fun.

It is true... Spirit of the glass is like ouija board. It is indeed evil game. I had try that when I was 13 and I know that it is true. After that, I never indulge myself again for any like that. The spirit is not any of the loved ones. They are just the supernatural things who like to fool mortals...

Creepy. I don't want to try it. I'm afraid of ghost or whatever entity is that. Although I don't believe on such thing. For me To see is to believe.

Is the same as the ouija board? It's all black magic in my eyes and something to be left alone, I wouldn't want to dabble in something I didn't understand and could have implications.

Yeah I do not know if I would believe it or not since when we were young we also tried to make our own board and do the ceremonies to make it alive and so far there were times that the glass really moved without us moving it. We did not play that anymore since I found it too creepy back then.

This is the first time I hear about this. It does not belong to the costums in my country, but even if it did, I don`t believe in spirits, evil or not. Still, I think that if there were spirits, it would be a lack of respect to call them.

I say not to do it, since you don't know what the spirits are and thus you wouldn't know where to go for help, if attacked by these spirits.

I was never allowed to have one in my home growing up and I didn't allow our family to have one either. I did once use one at a friends house, and it wasn't somehting I thought was fun. I haven't even seen them in the stores lately.
