During my school life I was excellent in studies and very average in sports. There are some guys who are excellent in sports and mediocre in studies. But see the irony, I look at them and say to my friends, hey I want to like them as these are the guys who are famous throughout the school and I was famous only in my class.
What's your say?

I will go for both. It is better to excel into skills than letting either of the two jeopardize your future. Some students need to balance the grades in subjects and be good in sports, since they are varsity players. The varsity needs to maintain their grades to still continue having the passion in sports.

Good in both is what every body craves for but you can't take professionally both. If you want to play at the highest level, than you have to at least sacrifice one of them.

God has gifted each of them with certain caliber and each of us people should find what the caliber is inside us and we must find it by ourselves from our life. If you have a good caliber to study and catch the things fast then go with it with your hard efforts. You will surely meet all you need.
Good Luck.

Hi anilhclites.
Well I was very good at studies in my school days. Though I was not very good at sports but in few of them I was better than the rest. And not only that I was very active in cultural events as well. So I was pretty famous in my school. Then even I used to feel that if I had been more good in sports I would have been the most popular guy in the entire school. But now I feel that I was wrong. As now I realize that if I had been even a little more negligent on studies then I would have had made it to where I am. Have a nice day ...

I would love to be as good as possible in both because I really enjoy learning and I really enjoy being active and playing sports as well. There aren't many sports that I really enjoy practicing and playing frequently. I love to play basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, running, and other random sports are fun as well.
I love to learn as well but it has to be in the right subjects. I just finished up my associate's degree and I'm looking to transfer to a college where I can earn a degree in making botanical and natural medicine. I'm hoping to do as well as possible in that field so that way I can create newer and better medicine.

Hmmmmmm... people have different passion and desire. You choose what makes you happy. You choose what makes you passionate about and then, if you choose that path, you'll be good at it.

I think studies and sports should go side by side. In my school days I was a good student but average at sports. Now I feel just like you that I should have done better at sports. Then I could have got even better in my career.
