Oh that is not so good,lols.. Do they act the same and speak same way, as in? I used to have classmate, but one is old fashion and one is not, so if you see them both, you will know who is who by the way they dress, lols. That is really problem if you dont figure out soon... Check there manicure if it is the same, or bags or anything, lols. Im confuse now too,:P

No I don't. My ex was one of a twin and I did see the difference. There always is unless you are not willing to have a closer look. The eldest is mostly a bit shorter (pushed out earlier), there is a difference in the way they walk, behave and they are for sure not exactly the same. There is always one "leader" and one "follower". So start observing one (it depends on the twins if they like to fool you as well), I can assure you there is a difference if you have a closer look.

Its hard to separate them, I remember talking to a twin boy and when I see his brother I was talking to him not realizing and he was pretending to be his brother lol . I know he had a twin but I never met him until that day and he was just acting like his brother . When I talk to the brother I then started to see the difference between the two . If you know both twins you will find the difference in them , no matter how identical they may seems.

hahaha! these two twin girls also get people fooled often! and I'm one of them who actually get fooled! I'm telling you its hard to seperate these two! I bet there is a difference which is really small and yet not noticable by me.

I think it would be difficult to distinguish unless you want to take their fingerprints. Their mother may know more than anyone because she gave birth.

Lol! I bet at first even their mother took their finger prints to know who is who! Hahaha!!!

Welcome to mylot. Thanks for this discussion. Identical twin look almost identical, only very close friends can find the difference , some times mothers dress them differently, comb their hair differently so that one can guess right. I think Shreya and Shruti are identical twins.

If it is really an identical, you can still distinguish the way they moved. The distinct likes to something showed their difference to each other. The perception to something will be different. Physically, I don't think there is a total similarity.

There might be a very small difference that I did not notice yet.

I have cousins who are twins and they lived quite close so I was able to visit quite often and therefore knew them extremely well. As children, that would be up to the ages of around 14 or 15 years old, I could not tell the difference between them. As a general rule I would depend on whatever they were wearing each day because they did dress differently. I imagine it must have been very difficult to most people to tell which one was Mary and which one was Agnes even in their late teenager years and early twenties. It was only because I was so familiar with them that I had a chance of knowing which was which even in their late teens.

Hi. I guess you need to focus more on their traits and characteristics rather than their physical attributes since you're having a hard time distinguishing who is who. For example, one is fond of a certain color while the other is not or one is more cheerful than the other. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi leonsandi! I think it happens sometimes when the both of the twins are exactly same because sometimes some twin pairs are not exactly same and they are a bit different from each other as when i was small there were also two girls lived near my house and many people were not able to recognize the difference but actually one had got a black spot on his cheek so it was easy.

There was this anime that I watched that had twins that looked exactly alike and the main character that was a girl could recognize them like they were completely different. I guess you could recognize them with their personality or maybe you could make a mark on the other one...
