I heard it loud and clear, the fish vendor was clearly shouting the price of fish she was selling. I stopped to buy, she weighed the fish, and when I gave the money she said it was lacking. I asked why, wasn't the fish priced at (amount)______? And she said no, it's (gave another amount higher than what she was saying a while back). Did I hear her wrong? I was sure I heard it loud and clear, but I could not do anything.
Just a few steps from that fish vendor are rows of vendors selling exactly the same fish and their prices are way, way lower than that previous vendor. How can some people do such things without shame when right next to them are proofs of their being cheaters?
I should have looked around and did not decide directly. The problem with doing your shopping when you're in a hurry is to buy the first goods you see without bothering to check out other vendors.
Anyway, I will never never go back to that cheating vendor again. I just got robbed in broad daylight.

I would be totally angry at this, but I'd be more angry at myself than at the vendor, although you won't go back there again, you do feel foolish for the act, and then when you get home to eat the fish, it's tainted, because of the way you were cheated and that fish won't taste good at all! If it's any consolation I have been caught this way too.

Hi
This is the result when we do things in hurry. The vendor would have shouted the low price but may have changed it when you bought it but you were also in hurry and didn't not ask for the explanation .yes you would have noticed what and how others are selling. This happened with me once where i went to buy vegetables .These particular people always shout while others wont. I used to think they were selling the vegetables at lower price but no i was wrong they were selling with a higher price compared to others. i learnt about it when one of my friend accompanied me and told me about these people. I stopped buying from there from then on wards.

That's my attitude, the time where I stop to buy something, I don't like to move corner to corner to check the price. Once I like the goods or clothing I won't bother myself to find another one to compare the price. That is why, when my wife go shopping she always hesitate to accompany. Most of the time I always complain I am tired, no need to roam around and find another thing.

I hate people who are sneaky like that. Anyway, if she gave you some good quality fish, then I guess you can let it slip and just pay for it, I mean it's not really worth getting all worked up. Just make sure to put her stall and face to your memory so you will never have to buy from her again. I will also warn my family about her. But if she sells you some stale, poor quality fish, then heck you should let her have her fish. That's a different story.
