Neighbor's Quarrel

Just awhile ago I heard loud voices in the neighborhood as if there are women quarreling. I just listened but I didn't understand what they were shouting at because they're over a hundred meters away from me though I can see them shouting at each other. This only happens once in a while not always. What I feared most are the quarrel between men because I saw them running after another with a bolo or knife. Aside from these quarrels, our neighborhood is really peaceful.

Lucky that I don’t have such neighbors, and I do have a secure community with a security guard in our village’s gate. If such incident would occur in my community, then that neighbor will be put into shame because we do have a strict implementation to community and house rules in our village. Most especially when there is a quarrel; a security guard will definitely go knock on the door and see if what is going on.

That's the advantage of living in a village or a subdivision. I only live in the countryside where everybody knows everybody. It seems that people are close to each other that they might be misunderstood by another which may result to quarrel.

Yeah right, but you can restrict yourself from getting closer to them in a way just acting civil saying hi's and hello's is a good way, but being with them like getting close. i would not like that idea, not that i am not friendly or so, it's just that you should have more privacy. Thanks for your response...

I would not call that a peaceful neighborhood. Where I live, I never here quarrels and have never seen anyone with a knife. The most we have, when schools is out, are too loud sound of music on Saturday nights from parties that teens have.

I hope you do soon. Although one gets acostumed to the neighborhood one lives in, it is best if there are no quarrels.

That don't happen always. There are just times that neighbors quarrel. You know, among my plans is to transfer my residence.

So when there was women quarrels in your area the peaceful community disturbed. Better to complain with the nearest police precinct and file a case public disturbance. Better they are not here, or else I will kick both of their asss to stop.

i live in a very quite and peaceful subdivision.. it is in a small court and the neighbors kinda watch out for bad stuff.. and my landlord even though he dont live close if anything goes wrong he knows about it and is here..he told me when we moved in that he has a no voilence policy and if i had any trouble ever give him a call and he would be here and give them warning before he ask then to move he wants it to be a safe happy area.. and so far it has worked .. so i feel very safe here :)

Good. Safety is the most important concern in every household. In our neighborhood I guess we are safe however, sometimes there are this petty quarrels among neighbors.

sounds just like my neighbourhood. Only difference is that, we do not let them continue to let them quarrel till they pick and knife and run behind one another . We just wait for sometime for themselves to settle down on the issue. If they are not off in sometime, then someone or the other from the place will intervene and stop the quarrel.

In our place, usually the wives or mothers will run to the participant of the quarrel and attempt to stop them but the more they quarrel.

Uh oh, that doesn't sound good. I hope nobody gets hurt. I mean, words can also hurt, right? As neighbors I hope they settle their differences soon for their own sakes and those of the rest of you in the neighborhood who gets to hear their yelling and screaming. I haven't seen neighbors who get into a fight then run after another with a bolo. That must be really scary.
