Do you believe in this sayings? This is what I read in many article I have heard about healthful what you eat.If you are too much in salty , you might possibly develop high blood pressure or kidney stone, If you eat too much fats you might also get diseases associated with that like obesity, heart disease, Just like me I am coffee addict I drink up to 12 cups a day and a soda drinker too. so common health problems that I have is heartburn, palpitation, and Hyper acidity. Whenever I eat noodles which can be found here selling in all sari-sari store from our neighborhood.100% sure that I always having a Urinary tract infection after eating that for straight week or at least 5 days, and eating junk foods Everyday is always the causes of my Sinuses.Yes of course its also depend in our cells in which are weak but what we eat triggers that weakened cell we have. Just like those elders who already still alive even they are already 100 years old when they have interviewed they always tell they eat vegetables fruits and fish. so that's why they have long life. I also don't believe in people who do not take care of their health because of their reason that if it's your time it's your time. Remember that it's our responsibilities to take care our health for our life is a gift from God and we should cherish it.

hello there fearlessgara,
i guess, believing in this saying, "you are what you eat" is fine. hence, i always heard this from those old people that in order for a person to live longer is to take those nutritious foods such as veggies, fruits, fish and a minor intake of meat. and you are right, our life lies on our health, so anything happens, it will have a domino effect to our body. thus, we should really take care our body since this is a treasured gift that God has given us to take care off.

I believe so because if you are a responsible person you will choose what you are going to eat.. will it be a healthy food or a junkfood... it is okey to eat junkfoods as long as in moderation or you can control when to eat it.. still there is no substitute in eating fruits and vegetable and as possible as you can eat foods that will have a benefit from it..

Yew i agree with your say, in food matter we must be very very careful, spicy/chilly/oily food/ meat/chicken all may test well, but they effect our body sooner or later, light vegetables, fruits are always good, i go by the saying-excess of any thing is bad

I always thought I was a bit of a vegetable!
I think it's a fair enough comment to make regarding age & good health. It doesn't matter how healthy you become, you will go when your time is up. However, this is not to be used as an excuse to not look after ourselves, as you say - our bodies do not even really belong to us, but we are the appointed caretakers. All people die; it's how we die that really matters!
I hope you can improve your health situation soon!

It is indeed that we are of what we intended to be, in terms of having healthy diet. The food is essential for us to be healthy and the it energize us to keep on going. Though we need to be responsible of what kind of lifestyle we should practice.

I'm lucky that I almost eat only vegetables, fruits, fish, tofu and rice till now.I don't like meat, coffee.sugar or something like that. The only problem is that I prefer a little more salty things than my family members. It seems that I must pay attention to this bad eating habit and try to make a change. Thanks for your sharing.

Nowadays most people live to eat rather than eat to live. Many of the ingredients in modern day food delicacies are very much harmful to general heath and well being.Knowingly, many would engage in devouring artificially flavored food preparations. In fact they are relishing unhealthy menu and inviting health problems in future.

I have a sweet tooth and that made me a sweet person. I guess I could say that I eat a well balanced diet. I would have a serving of vegies almost everyday. Sometimes we would have pork or beef, but most of the time we would have fish and chicken. I am very concerned with what my kids eat as well and good thing that the school of kids implement the same. They certainly cannot have any junk food at school including tetra juices. We have to take care of our health because it wouldn't be very pleasant to live old but sickly. It is also important to exercise.
Just a reminder for you then, 12 cups of coffee is too much and there is nothing nutritious in noodles too. I hope you'll take care of yourself so you won't get sick anymore.

Well,in my opinion,I think that if people can control themself well then foods will not cause so much diseases,we always should control the quantity of our favourite food,in your instance, you said that you drink 12 cups of coffee a day,oh my God,that is a little crazy because usually the quantity should be control below 4 cups a day,so if you can control yourself well then I think that those diseases you had mentioned will get away from you very soon.
