There is work available. Whether you work online, own your own business or work for someone else everyday! You have mechanics, chefs, writers, musicians and more. There are people who own their own business, creating more jobs. There is nothing more rewarding that good hard work everyday. I am finding more things everyday. I see places like Jimmy Johns, Dunkin Donuts and more places that are hiring. I know the economy is not that great! You want to take control of your life and get to a better place, no one is going to give you enough money to pay your rent and bills! Everyone has bills to pay before getting what they want. After paying your bills, you will be lucky to have money to save for things like going on vacation and things like that! For me, Hard work is doing anything that requires energy and time and effort daily from those who do work hard and at times long hours! What will happen when there is no money to give, no money to earn?

Sure. Anyway, I am always thinking that it is so hard to live here on earth. All people here on earth have to work hard and suffered too much to survive, but I guess that what makes society works. I think for those people who have business and rich people, well, they work so hard and when they become rich, they work less. I imagine Bill Gates. I think he need not to work hard anymore because he's already rich. Maybe he do his work but not too much.

Any jobs are considered hard work. The manner of obtaining the money is the result of hard work. I am sure even having simple jobs, doing it for a long period of time can still be a difficult. Patience will detest you to be productive that being an idle person.

I don't think I have ever really given any thought to what hard work really is. I tried to raise my daughter with a good work ethic for hard work. Her first job was a cashier at CVS and as for me I worked auto parts most of my life like my husband. All of that to me is hard work because with the auto parts you have to lift the parts and put them in the right place. Trust me some parts aren't feathers that's for sure. Not to mention any retail you have to put up with customers and that can be hard work because some customers don't make it easy at all to deal with them especially when you add in coupons and weekly sales.
When you actually think about it though I think you're right. Anything that takes time and effort could be considered as hard work because then you have to add in what happens when you put in the effort. People open new stores with that effort to put new jobs in place.

I am afraid unless you win the lottery hard work is your only option. You sound like an hard working person. My son is currently working for nothing at a charity. He is prepared to do anything rather than sit around bored and moaning. You really have to be prepared to do any job these days.Earning a living and paying your way is what it is all about.Goodness only knows what is happening with the world but we will all have to look after each other in order to survive. To get back to your original question hard work is any work that pays money. As long as it is legal of course.

those require a longer time and that you deprive yourself of little rest . this especially for people who work at least more than 16 hours per day and only have rest during week ends. sometimes, they really like to work and take over time. at the same time they also find many outlet where they pend more than less. because some work not just to pay bills but have some pride to boast their friends to buy expensive things so they are always ahead of the latest technology and the fashion industry. so to get updated they need to buy a latest gadget, buy new car and so their expenses also increases. hard work also is a driving force behind it when you become ambitious not just to satisfy your needs but also your wants.

Hard work for me is anything that i dont like doing but i do it anyways to earn money. Or working 8 hours and you get paid so little and you need to work extra hours to earn more.
It is not hard work, if i like doing it, easy or not but as long i am enjoying. Oh it becomes hard work too, after doing it a long time and its all the same,lols...
I know i have a point..somewhere there, just sharing my thoughts!

Reading your topic now reminds me that I have a credit card
bill statement total nearly RM9,000 to be paid this month.
It seems I have to be on a tight budget this month so that
I can pay off this bill. If not, the interest charged will
be very high. Since I am working 9-6 job, I don't think I
have the time to look for some more part time job. Thank God
we have myLot here for me to earn some extra income.
Since Chinese New Year festival is around the corner, and
my son school just started with extra expenses, his tuition
is starting this week with extra fees, I just can't think
but I have to find ways. My expenses is nearly 5 times my
income. Oh dear.... Insurance premiums is due too

To your final question:
What will happen when there is no money to give, no money to earn?
Will be pain!
Those who work hard every day to bring home the "bread" and maybe should support a family, no longer has the money to make ends meet. He like others, may also happen a revolution?
Well I can not really answer.
But I must unfortunately note that the world (especially where I live in Italy), is passing through a crisis, and millions of jobs are skipped.
Where ever we go?
We pray and hope for the good of all mankind!

A lot of people consider it a hard work when they exert physical effort on a particular job or undertaking. However, I came to realize that involving the mind is the hardest work. The mind is the seat of all things that has been started. It started first in the mind, cultivated through lots of analysis and planning, then executed through physical effort. Those who have attained this reached the highest level of their existence.

The hardest "hard work" for me that I can not really really dwell into is caregiving or working with the old people..another job that I can not do is Domestic Helper. I can be a bar girl (LOL) or a strip tease dancer but i can not be a care giver... I don't like attachment I will surely break if an old person will die in my care. I always have high respect to old people and I always love old people, no matter how cranky the person is. I can be a bagger in a grocery or supermart. I can be a lifter in the port but then.. I can never be a Domestic Helper. I can not stand cleaning anybody's toilet. and I am scared that my "clean" to me may still be "dirty" to them. LOL
I noticed that your discussions for the last two days are all about money, beggars and work. Just an observation

we life not for money, but everything need money, if we ever heard that money can talk, like this case, because money can buy anything, including yourself. To earn some money we need to hardwork whatever is that, do with brain, think. Make a business is not easy as we think as theory or suggestion from other. It need knowledge first to get expert on the field on business.

In our country so many people are unemployed. It's not that there aren't any Jobs available, they are just really picky. Most of the people would rather be unemployed and wait for a good opportunity than to involve themselves into very hard work. They all have this pride because in this country, no one hires people who haven't gone into college. People here also prefer the white collared jobs, they just want to do the paperwork and none of te physical work. Most people just want to have jobs related to their line of education. That's not bad, but then wasting time isn't good either. Either way, it doesn't change anything, a new batch of graduates are coming out again this year, and everyone is stuck.

My thoughts of "HARD WORK". This doesn't mean "PHYSICAL". You earned something because you have done your jobs, its also hard work. You exerted efforts using your body and brains to earn money or anything. It may be in shorter or longer time. It all depends on how you deal or manage your jobs. Be systematic and technical in doing your jobs. It also depends on the kind of jobs you are handling.
