Recently my computer had faced a risk of virus through my friend's USB. Which had disturbed all my activities. Due to which I have to format all my data. Now I want to download a free and best USB Antivirus, that work perfectly. Can you give me any info about, which is the best among them.

I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials(MSE) for three years now and have never got any kind of virus into my computer. So I recommend you this one.

Hello
There are plenty of free anti virus available on internet. But I guess I can't try all of them. But let me tell you my experience. I am using Avast internet since last three years. And I am facing no problem after that. It is scanning all USB devices properly and removing all infected and risky things from it. Its free version is working great. So you can try out that for your computer. I had tried AVG too in the past, they are good too. But for now I am only using AVAST.

I have also used Avast in the past. But it is unable to keep performing your windows working longer, as doing Norton. But currently I am using a windows which is not supporting Norton. So I have installed McAfee and for removable media I decided to install USB-AV-Antivirus. Also The Avast does not automatically removes the infected materials after scanning, but ask you an action from a list of options,. Which is hard for an unexperienced person.

The three best free Antivirus products are Avast, AVG and Avira. You should download any of these from the product's own website. Make sure that you choose the free version (some of the sites make it quite difficult to find the free product and will try to get you to download the free trial of the paid product ... naturally, they want to make money!)
In each case, the virus protection you get with the free versions is just the same as that which comes with the paid versions. All that you would be paying for would be extra tools and facilities which you may not, strictly, need.

I don't think that any USB antivirus is available right now. You have to take precautions to keep virus away from your device, disable the auto play option of the USB drive and always scan a new device(USB or SD cards) before opening the files.
