Well, I don't have an android. I do have an iPhone and since most of my gadgets are Apple, I think I am stuck with an iPhone for a while. I have no complaints though, because most of these are bought by my husband for me. I do hear from some friends that the android phones have way cooler apps than the iPhone.

This looks a very cool but a bit useless. I mean it's nice yeah, but why? I prefer using a bluetooth headset with my mobile.
My favourite android app is the BTmono what let's me to use a bluetooth headset to listen to music.

I have this app called shazam, it can recognize the song only in a few seconds or maybe a minute then it give you the title of the song and its details. You have to press a button and place it near the tv, radio or anything that plays a song. This app has a huge source of database when it comes to music.

There seems to be a growing interest in apps that can perform odd tasks, although I cannot see any real benefit in it. If I am using my computer and playing music, as I am at the moment, then it is far easier to use the mouse than to pick up a mobile phone. I have a smart TV that is linked to my home network, so if I play music while distant from the computer I will access it via the television, so I can use the remote.
As I said, many sources are producing apps to perform impressive looking tasks, but the majority are interesting yet little more than gimmicks.
