Europe is full of budget airlines like Easy Jet and Ryan Air. I fancy traveled on Cebu Pacific Airline. It could give me a cheap flight between Thailand and the Philippines. I read that in the autumn of 2013 that airline with have flights to the Middle East and Europe. I can't wait until I hear more news about their soon to be with us new routes. I traveled on a low cost airline in Brazil. It saved much time on the long distance buses.
It is sad that in a recession some budget airlines go out of business. It would be annoying to book a ticket and then the low cost airline goes out of business. It would be even worse to be overseas and not be able to get back home again. That sadly happened when Zoom Airlines went out of business.
I miss First Choice Airlines. I got cheap flights to Mexico and the Maldives on that. Yes, just two hundred pounds for those two long haul flights. I also went on that airline to Bulgaria. The First Choice Travel Agent is still around but they don't seem to be using the airline. I think it was a charter airline. Many of the people on those flights were doing a package holiday. I got the flights last minute at very cheap prices.
Think of some budget airline destinations that you fancy visiting in the future.

Hi Maxine! What is the name of the low cost airline that took you to Brasil? I´m looking for cheap fares to have some vacations soon. I would not go on a very, very low prices aurline though. It would have to meet certain standards of safety but I don{t care about the beauty of the seats. I want to go to Brasil if posible although I have other places in mind too.

Hi Marguicha. The name of the low cost airline is Azul Brazilian Airline and it flies internally in Brazil. Due to Brazil being a very large country it is useful for the people that live there and travelers like you and me. We flew from Rio to Porto Alegre for a low price. Then we took an overnight bus to Buenos Aires. It gave us enough time for a day trip to Colonia in Uruguay. Yes, safety standards are very important. The worst air crash in South American history happened at Sao Paulo. That airline crashed into a gas station. It was indeed a national airline rather than a low cost airline. I loved traveling on Colombia's national airline to Bogota in 2011. Azul Brazilian Airline was established in 2008 by the founder of Jet Blue Airline. In its first year it had over 2 million passengers. This was more than any other low cost airline in the world. Hugs.

One of the world's best low cost carrier is Air Asia. It travels to multitude places and is value for money. If you are travelling within the Asian region then I will recommend Air Asia. Make your bookings early online and you will get a good bargain

Yes, Easyjet and Ryanair have been a great boost to the European tourist industry due to the increased number of people able to afford the flights. I use Ryanair quite frequently for this reason, although you do have to make some sacrifices in order to save money this way. I was in Spain a couple of years ago and the flight home was cancelled, so I was offered a flight 2 days later with no compensation whatsoever. Fortunately I had enough money to book a hotel for 2 nights and make the most of the extra time, but had I flown by another airline I would have had the costs paid for me. I still use Ryanair because the savings in the long run are still a benefit, as long as people remember that you actually get what you pay for and accept the fact.
If they extended to further destinations then I would be tempted to consider whatever destination was available. After all, I am usually quite happy to visit any country.

By October Cebu Pacific Airlines mainly from the Philippines will be open their flights to Dubai. Actually, they are not the only airlines in the Philippines offered low cost tickets. Another airlines called ZestAir. But their flights as of now is limited to domestics. They have flights outside Philippines in TKorea, Shanghai. China, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and Jinjiang China.
I always book my ticket with them but if flight wasn't available, Cebu Paciific my other alternative.
