our neighbor once had cat and when they transferred to another place, they took the cat to the truck but it jumped out of the vehicle so they decided to leave it. since then, the cat has lived with us. she's got a couple of children and grand children now. i guess they really are ours now since they are fed here. they may go anywhere whenever they want but they really go home when they need to eat and sleep.

that is really nice that you took that cat in when they had to leave it behind. sounds like it has been well taken care of. do you have all the children and grand children cats to? or did you give some away? my nana has a lot of cats. she would take in strays all the time so that they had a good loving home.

we also have dogs so we give away the kittens to our neighbors. well, of course we choose the people who we believe could take care of them.

These cats have got the best of both worlds, all the freedom to roam and dinner and a bed to come home to. It may seem unkind to suggest this but if you do not get your cat neutered she will be producing kittens every six months and your garden will be full of cats, also too many pregnancies will shorten her life.uld you consider this?

In most localities, If you feed a cat, it is yours and you are responsible for it.

Have you considered getting her spayed so she stops having kittens? it would be the kindest thing to do. Stray cats get worn out from pregnancy after pregnancy, and are susceptible to all sorts of illnesses. A good litter box that is cared for will keep the odors at bay when a cat uses it. We have two indoor cats - both rescues - both were strays - and two litter boxes. When visitors come in they don't even know we have cats - there's no odor. And both our cats - males - have been neutered, so there's no spraying or anything.

i would've wanted it but there are only 4 of them now. i think we can still take care of them. regarding the litter box, how is it done? i'm not familiar with it.

we don't have a problem with the cats' wastes. most of the time they don't poop in our compound. we also don't let them inside the house.

well the owner of the cat lives immediately next to our house. maybe she sees whenever we feed the dog that's why she eats with them and then the story went on.

Hahaha - enjoy your extended family! The animals goes where the love is. Same thing happened to my sister when a cat climbed through her window a couple of months ago. They are now grandparents, cause the cat got a litter of five the other day. They have decided not to give them away, for they love them too much!
