Hi friends,
we all know how corruption is going on in our country.. So my question is, what uf we join politics and give our contribution in makin our country better. As more politicians here are old, I guess youngsters can change few things. We can make a better country. They are collecting huge taxes from us, and not using it for development, and just to raise their bank balances...
What is your view about it friends???

One of the main reasons why the Indian political system has turned from bad to worse in last few decades is the presence of old politicians. Most of them have been in politics for over 30 years. Also, the fact that politicians do have an upper age limit, they never seem to want to retire. This is another roadblock in the path of youngsters trying to enter politics. I'm sure a younger Lok Sabha will improve the overall outlook of the country.

Well lots of youngster are already part of politics and has things changed well No
If a youngster is someone from political background then only he can make a carrier in politics for those who don't have godfather then he would always be just a member his growth in politics as a carrier is lot harder
therefore many youngster usually leave politics after a certain time.
I know many of them personally

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well youngsters should definitely join politics only and only if they have the right intentions in their mind to remain the dirt from the society and the country as a whole. They have that kind of power in their hands to bring about any change in the society but they should not come under the influence of power and money.
What say?

you are most welcome...
Yes you are right. They should not become greedy and start filling their own pockets.. If the funds are utilized properly, I guess India will soon become number 1 in many aspects..

Young people deserve to join politics. Not to be rude, but I've learned that new people tend to hold high hopes toward the future, and older audiences tend to be corrupt. Though that may not always be the case, but younger audiences tend to be rebellious and make more changes for the better.
I guess you could say I'm biast because I'm young as well, but as people say.. the newer generations hold the future.

The young generations should also involved in politics, since they are still a part of the community. For some reason, they should be in the legal age to join any activities in the political world. It doesn't sounds bias since it is your own right to say things about it.

india is a country where the majority of the voters are youngsters. so the era of old people ruling our country will surely end. but as far as joining the politics is concerned it is not easy as one thinks. people normally wont vote for an independent candidate which makes joining a political party a complulsary affair to win elections. and you know to get a party ticket for contesting in elections is more difficult than winning elections itself. political parties normally asks donations to their party for providing tickets to us. so youngsters who are poor cant enter the fray. youngsters who are rich dont even care about the state of this country. this makes only the middle class youngsters the chance to contest and win elections. so i would say youngsters should enter the politics and clean the system and make contesting and winning elections possible even for a youngster from a poor family

I don't know, I think anyone getting involved in politics will eventually become as corrupt as the current politicans, and I'm talking anout any country in the world. In a politician's world money and power become the common language and everyone succumbs to them.

As for me the age does not really matter but the heart to serve does. A Politician old or young will do for as long as they really are after serving the people would make a good public servant. Of course we need young blood but only if they are not corrupt and will not take advantage of their position for their own benefit. I don't wanna see a young and yet so corrupt leaders of this country. As for oldies, I find nothing wrong if they wanna stay and serve for as long as they still have the strength and capability and first and foremost...a genuine desire to serve the public.

Yes I agree I think that not only should younger generations join in politics but they should get involved with it and learn about what is going on out there. If younger generations join in with politics they will have a lot of things to change about the world in general. They might have a lot of ideas that could really help out around the world. And I know that there are a lot of younger people who have some really great ideas.

If youngsters join politics to serve the country, it is a very good idea and should be welcome by all. But if youngsters join politics to achieve their own goals, which is comparatively easy if one join politics and which we are habituated to see everywhere in the society, everyone would oppose it. Indian politics is now so rotten that no honest person is willing to join it. Politics without any ideology is useless and cannot improve and develop the character of an individual and thus cannot make good citizens for the society as well as the country.

In my country, the youngsters are involved in this kind of endeavor. We have one unit that the young generations have the same process for voting their own official. To take part in the national voting, the younger age a group should be in the legal age to participate.

Young people should join politics if they have that call from their heart. It's the same as any other career you decide for yourself. You will only shine and perform well if you have that passion to go all the way.
