My best friend went back to the the hospital today because she was scheduled for another blood transfusion and some tests but her blood count came up good and the Dr said that there was no need for the blood transfusion! To those who didn't get to read my previous discussion... we found out around 3 days ago that my best friend has leukemia. I have felt very distraught about this. I couldn't sleep well and all I do is think and pray asking God to heal her. She's my partner in crime and we do so many things together. Some people even think were twins. Tonight I think I'll be sleeping soundly. Of course I'll keep on praying but my heavy heart feels lighter and it feels like 5 pounds have been lifted off my chest. God is truly great! How about you? Did you get any good news today?

That is wonderful news. I haven't received such good news as you have. So glad that your friend doesn't need a blood transfusion. God was watching over your friend for sure.

That's really a good news for you and to her family. I already responded to your older discussion related to this topic and only prayers can help your friend to recover quickly. Now, the sign already given so continue praying for her.

Yes, I remember your reply to my previous discussion. Thanks for always sharing your thoughts. Our prayers have been heard. Although her blodd count is still far from normal at least we see improvement

God never misses a minute to save His child who ardently pray. It's nice to hear stories like this- this gives inspiration to other people especially those who are losing their faith.

Leukemia and any illness of the sort is very scary. I can understand how you are under a lot of pressure and feeling a great deal of sadness. I do hope that your friend will get better and make it through this. Keep spending as much time with her as you can. Life is truly so precious.

It is really really scary Dominique. We have a history of leukemia in the family so my Mom makes us get our cbc's every year. She has lost 2 cousins and an aunt to leukemia so she makes sure that her kids dont get it. My friend doesn't have any relative who had the disease so it never crossed our minds that she would have it someday...
