Do you do Quality Posts here on Mylot?

Hello fellow Mylotters. I was wondering are we really doing some quality posts here? Lately i see so bore topics on mylot and i don't feel like responding to most of them. It comes a time where i search for 10 topics and feel like responding to 3 or less of them. 
Sad right? i know it is. But i think we all should make it a point to place sensible and good topics here, sometimes i find people talking about sports of their own country, or the matches that are running in their own country of which no one else has a clue of
, now what we are suppose to do with those? i think it will be good enough if we think mylot as a family and post good and interesting topics here which will make us more excited to come and work here, rather than just post anything and everything. Lets be a bit technical and practical. Let us discuss over serious healthy issues, society issues, personal issues and not just what you ate for dinner and who will survive the cricket match in your society. Have a great morning everyone.

In this few day i just make a few respond because i cannot find interesting topic. I really hope i can find interesting topic which make me got a lot of idea. I feel very bored. I also cannot say to much about other discussion because i know my discussion also bored and sometime weird.

Hi Aka! But you really try and I never find your discussions boring. I can't respond to them all because sometimes you need advice and I can't help. But other times I find your topics quite interesting and if I don't know much about your topic I do a search so I can learn and respond to you. Also, we have many conversations that go pretty far down the page and Mavic is always good for joining us.

Good morning.
Archie,see.Mylot also says that we should provide quality posts.But we all know what quality is.Have a pin point answer and discussions or responses having 2-3 para.So in order to maintain quality we should follow guidelines and avoid discussing those topics which are likely to be deleted.So we should see do's and don'ts.We should start or participate in interesting and allowed discussions.I have seen generally people talk about poll discussions which are also not allowed here.

Hi Hence,recently i too started a poll type discussions and was deleted after getting more than 20responses.
His sis Archie,i know we should only post or comment helpfull quality responses,i know what is quality but i find it very difficult to respond quality as i have zero knowledge and less experiences and also with my bad English.
I also agree we should start an intersting Topic that is of interst to you and which make make more people find our discussions intersting.
I also can't see any one with bad English here in mylot except me,so i hope i might be the one who should aware about this.
Anyways thanks a lot for sharing this discussions and happy earnings online.

Hi Archie,you too can see good lists of topics which you are interested in and by using which you can respond or start any discussions.
@Admin,one thing i want to tell you that my English is not also superfine.I am too in learning process.And who say that your English is bad,i don't think so.Participate more as per your time and be active here.And your english will gradually become fine.

Well, a lot of times, you will find discussions here that are boring, and lacking much for a response. Especially from some of the Newer ones coming here all the time as they are not knowing what is the Best yet. But a lot of times they just need a little help and encouragement, and it gets better. But many times you find people just starting a discussion to start a discussion. So it really depends on what you are interested as well, but quality is important.

We have differences.
We don't have same taste when it comes to food, clothing, movie choices and a lot more.
Same thing here in mylot, you find discussion that doesn't caught your interest- but sounds good for other members.
I do not respond to topic/s that I cannot relate with, but it doesn't mean that those topics are not quality one.

If you sees other topic irrelevant or not a quality type that suit your standard- just leave and ignore.
We are not forced to participate to any topic that we don't want to butt in.
I don't know either if my topic is a quality one- but most of my friend participated in.

Are you sure you are going about searching for topics that interest you? If you go by 'interest' I am sure you will find loads of topics that you can respond to. Those interested in sports will go there. I have no problem at all.
As of now I have posted 673 topics and it is sad that you did not find a single topic that you could respond to.

I don't know how you go about looking for topics. But if you look at the home page, there are different tabs for different categories. You could search through those tabs and I am sure you will find topics that interest you. Have your subscribed to myLot Digest. Here you will find many topics of general interest. Just trying to help.

archie wehn you come in here telling us our discussions are boring how the heck do you think we would act? hug you?no no I am not fighting but I do stand byh my own discussions and if you do not like them then just move on.Noticed one thing I am leading all in ranking so check the number after my name.

You have to search for topics that interest you. There are a lot of people here and they are from different areas of the world, so you may not like their post or topic but someone else may like it and respond. You have to make sure that you have interest that you like and go from there. Everyone does not like to post about politics and stuff like that, so they will not and other people from other countries may post about their own society. You have to do posts that interest you that is why there is a variety of interests to choose from.
Everyone here does not like the same thing and I don;t know about you, but I may be American, but I love reading posts from others about their society and how their world over seas works. I love different cultures and topics from others here that is what makes it fun.
My motto is if you do not like it then do not respond to it, because in the end there may be someone that may not like what you post as well. Just how it goes here. Good Luck :)

Hi there I've notice that too.Since the day I signed up here I was browsing some posts and noticed that there posts which tackles mainly on topics and discussions answerable by people who is actively doing the same thing and as a result the commenting process will lower or you won't be able to post your idea or comment because you lack knowledge of the topic.

There are really times that there isn't much interesting topics to respond, too. And it just so happens that some members just feel sharing what they wanted to share to everybody which doesn't interest you much. Maybe you could post discussions you feel like sharing then a lot of members will respond to it and the rest will follow.

Sports is one of the topic that people revels talking in. And in cricket, there is a healthy population of more than 2000. So we are able to get good response there. People do try to put quality post but failed a lot of times. Health, society issues may be local and may not have universal appeal, so people may refrain to do so. So finding an interesting topic may not be easy.

What is quality response.
Here goes,for me quality means intersting discussions which will be liked by all.But unfortunately without knowingly we voilate TOS of mylot.
I don't have any quality discussions to start except simple one,so i get less response to my discussions.

Yeah, you are right. I have also come across such kinds of useless posts that some people starts. There's no meaning of starting them. We are here to discuss our important matters and get the answers that we don't find on our own and germ the varied suggestions. This makes me feel that I have a very huge family that cares for me.

You might not enjoy the cricket topics in the same way that others will not enjoy topics about dumplings or chicken soup 
Since myLot launched there have been over 2 million discussions posted and even if some of them have been deleted, that still leaves an enormous amount available for us to participate in. We do not necessarily have to participate in new topics and can go and find the older ones at any time at all.
I feel that, with so many topics to choose from, if someone can't find something enjoyable here, then they should look closer to home for the cause of their problem and not put the blame on others.

hi archieo and how many super intelligent discussions have you made to show all of us poor peons just how to make them? and how can one get bored with the thousands of discussions there are on my lot?
I feel I make very good discussions as I always get at least 25 responses and one or two have over fity resp;onses and one h as 135 responses so maybe I am doing okay. I just bypass the ones that do not interest then head for my friends then for some of the other tabs.

I don't know how can people just grab you by your neck without understanding what they want to explain. I think more than quality responds people here need to grow up. In my discussion i haven't blamed you or someone personally. In fact i haven't blamed. And if you do understand certain things then you should know that WE means i have kept myself in the so called blame game. So please if there was one person who started abusing me and my topic, reading those doesn't mean you have to do that same. Just a piece of advice, do not write anything without knowing its actual concept.

Hi Archie!
This is the reason why myLot allow us to choose our own interests. There maybe times that we cannot relate to a certain post having a different interest, but it doesn't mean that this particular post is not anymore a quality one.
