That was not a penalty, your post maybe violates the guidelines or the discussions you have responded violates the guidelines so it was deleted. Once your post deleted, your earnings also deducted.

If you post a discussion or respond to one which is deleted because of a Guideline violation, your earnings (and your User Rating) are adjusted. This is explained in the FAQs here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#17

Like what other mylotters wrote above, one possible reason why there's a sudden deduction to our earnings is - we violated a rule, the topic that we responded got deleted. As for violating rules, refer to Guidelines and FAQ's to avoid deduction/s. Enjoy mylot

Your earnings will sometimes go down it a discussion you were participating is is deleted.

Actually, I also experience this things from time to time and yes that is because there maybe some responses or comments that were deleted.

its happen to me so many times that mylot admins deleted my post. on my second day i post six topics, on the next day omg all my post deleted. there have many terms and conditions here. but I love mylot =)

I am sorry to hear you lost two cents, but what is that anyway? Just a drop in the bucket, and yo9u can certainly make that up in no time. I have had lost of my responses deleted because the discussions were a violation of the terms of service. I know when I heolp someone who is posting a violation, that my post wiol be deleted, but like others, I am here to heolp as that is what mylot asks of us to help others. After all, we were once newbies ourselves, and we needed the help, so we should be willing to help others whether we lose our earnings or keep them. Mylot is all about having fun and learning from others, more than earning,. Just sit back, relax have fun, and you will see your ernings soar in no time. Take care!

It's because one of the two reasons, first may be the discussion to which you responded is deleted or second may be the discussion you started gets deleted all due to violations of rules of myLot. And there must be an email notification given by myLot to you as why your earnings reduced. So to avoid these situations please read FAQ at the down of the page.
