What you think is what you get

According to some books and movies, this thought is very powerful that when you know how to control this, you get anything that pops out from your mind. This principle tells us that if we think of something most of the time, the more likely it will come to us. In addition to that, even if you bombard your mind with "I hate/do not like that", that more it will come to you because you keep on thinking of it.
What can you say?

What you stated is exact one in this entire world.
We can't assume the exact value of mind and it's thinking.
A proper thinking and the following activity leads to everybody to a certain goal.
We cannot avoid thinking while we take a step to perform an action.
The great people all came to such a highest crests because of their innovative thinking only.
I myself also prefer thinking more than doing something before.

Actually, there is something called thought kinetics...in fact there are people who can move things just by thinking..things like spoon. They are genetically wired differently may be...but Discovery channel or was it Galileo Extremes did a program on a guy like that. May be the suggestion came because of such people. As far as I am concerned, if it does not work for 90 percent of folks, it is not a valid law. However, as you suggested, if we wish, we orient our actions towards it, but it is not necessary that the nature or others would help us in the process. Whatever we want..we have to do it ourselves, if we get help from nature or others, it is just a coincidence.

Is not really all about wishing. Most poor do wish but they limit themselves to just mere wishing which is not enough. You should feel good about the things you want and desire and keep it in mind for most of the time. Though its still not absolute because I haven't tried it yet. I still do respect your opinion.

I also believe in the power of thinking. Maybe because if you think a lot about something that you want to get or achieve. You motivate yourself more to achieve or have it. Think of it this way, the more you think the more you get motivated and the more you will work hard and do everything just to get what you want.

Well, you may also put that into consideration. Better dream of something realistic.

Thats true to some extent. The more we concentrate on a subject, we keep all our organs active particularly for that subject. So as we find a little smell of that object, we can feel its presence otherwise in normal times we generally overlook that same thing. Its related to our sub-conses state of mind only.

At first, it will really appear as a superficial and psychological activity, but most people who applied this would say it is really working in our world.

I do agree in this concept of thinking, that when you think of something and really concentrate on just this one thing, all of your energy, being will work towards that thing. There is even a book written about that and Oprah even promoted it, it is like the secret formula for success in all aspects of life and the most powerful people in the world is using that formula. I will try to research more that book and update you.

Wow! I wish this really comes true sometimes. What i only think since a very long year's time is going and settling in New York City, work there and live there entire life. I love the city and i don't know the exact reason for it. But i simply love that city and no other city in the world. I think it every second, when i see any movie shot in new york, or photos of friends from New York. I just go mad seeing it. I wish i reach there sometime.

Partly it is true- the power of mind.
It is because we have the power to program our mind of things that we want to do and we don't want to do.
Like, we can control ourself from sleeping no matter how sleepy we are.
Same thing with other things- the determination and will power is strong enough to control ourselves to get what we want and things we want to avoid.

Yeah I do agree with this to an extent. How we think and feel affect our life in so many ways. We can be positive or negative. We can choose to dwell on either of those things. Our life really can become what we think about. Thanks for sharing this with us.
