Like to read Newspaper in Toilet

That is not weird at all, every male in my family does that too! Lol. When I use the bathroom I bring my phone in there with me and play a game on my phone, it gives me something to do... =)

We all have different toilet habits, and some are the usual’s and some are not. Others like you may find it comfortable reading newspapers while on the toilet, and some are also fond of playing their handheld gadgets while on the toilet. Another funny toilet habit is singing while on the toilet.

I have a magazine rack in the bathroom and do read part of the paper or part of a magazine while visiting the bathroom. I think many people do this so it's not uncommon. My husband has a hand held video poker game that he plays while he's doing his business. I recently got a new phone and sometimes text friends if I forget to take a paper with me.

Hhehe...I remember 2 years old discussion do you have such habit reading newspaper in toilet and there lots of mylotters respond in funny way. You are right this is unnatural habit why not pay attention only on one thing and due to news paper may be main purpose will forget. ehehe...

Iam surprised by your habit man.Actually sometimea I also spent more time thinking about different things but never done that.It seems you gave idea to many who spent more tine on watching tv.

Do you have thermos bottle? I have a slight OCD about this, never daring to put the cork on tightly when there's hot water in it. I'm afraid that the thermos bottle would explode!;)

I don't think that it is unnatural. I do a lot of reading in the restroom too (perhaps they call it a "rest" room for a reason). I picked up this habit from my mother who also reads a lot in the restroom. Usually the restroom floor would be filled with books, both mine and my mother's, until my mother would yell at my brother to clean it up and bring the books back outside. My brother would clean it even if he wasn't the one would was doing the reading.

My husband does that as well. With only one bathroom in the house, that can be an issue. I had to have my gall bladder removed a few years ago and since then I sometimes find my stomach has a mind of it's own. I can be fine one moment and needing the facilities desperately the next. Add the fact that I have to take lasix or my legs look like those of a clydesdale and I need him to go or get off the pot as they say. If I do have the luxury of relaxing, then there is a book near at hand. I did once consider making the bathroom look like a library. A book shelf with a small globe, a few books, lol. I didn't want to encourage him to take even longer though.

This is perfectly normal. A lot of people do this. I don't think its odd. I sometimes do this. Hahaha! My odd habit is eating icecream with ketchup. I know it's gross but my friend and I love it that much. There was this one time when we dined in a restaurant and we ordered icecream and put in ketchup. People were staring at us as if they couldn't figure out how it tasted. Hahaha! my friend and i really enjoyed our icecream. :)

My ex sure did.. for hours at a time. i think hed read the whole thing in there...

Your habit does not sound odd to me at all. I always bring a reading material with me inside the toilet.It does not matter what kind of readinv material.It can be a book,dictionary,magazine or broadsheet as long as it is interesting to read.And yes,sometimes -like you-I get totally engross in reading that I tend to stay more than I should.

If you claim yourself studious I claim to be religious. I pray when I am inside the toilet LOL. but yes it is enjoyable to read too. I hope the pages are still intact lol

I guess bathroom it's an inspiring place. My boyfriend spends a lot of time, like you, reading on the toilet. He have an entire shelf there. And I take long baths every day, that help me to think. It seems I have a good relationship with water. Ecologysts will probably hate me for this.

I have a habit of reading newspaper in early morning. I just wait for the newspaper boy. I don't do anything else without finishing the newspaper headlines. I want to get rid of this habit but found myself helpless.

Thanks for this discussion. Well though i don't have this habit, i know many enjoy reading newspapers, magazines, novels in toilet, some enjoy singing there. My 4 years young granddaughter enjoys reciting her rhymes there..

I think that's perfectly normal myself. I used to take magazines in there with me. I normally just watch video or listen to music on my cellphone when I'm in the bathroom these days. I got the magazine thing from a cousin of mine when we were younger. We were hanging out with some of his friends, and he told them that he had to use the toilet(he didn't say it like that). So when we walked back to his house, he said let me get some magazines and go in there lol.

My brother does it, LoL! But be warned. Sitting for a long time on a toilet bowl is not a good habit. It could have effects on you.

I may admit that I'm not a newspaper reader. But I used to see people on the television who reads newspapers inside the bathroom. And I guess it's just a normal thing. :)

I bring any reading materials whenever I go to the toilet. For some, they bring mobile phones.lol. Have agreat day!

Yes,it's a good habit.If one read newspapers or magzines in toilet,then he/she can save more time which they can allot for reading newspapers in extra time.It is a very good habit of saving time. But yes,my father don't like it.He thinks in a different manner.
