Are there Radio DJs here?

I heard an advertisement that one of the local radio stations here in our city is looking for a new female dj. I am so interested with it and I am thinking of applying to the said job offer. But, my problem is i do not have a background of being a radio dj. The radio station encourages everyone even those who do not have a background but, I'm getting nervous because I do not have an idea of what I have to do when I come there at the station for the audition.
Can you give me pieces of advice? Do you think I have to give it a shot or just forget about it? Thanks a lot!

I been a DJ 28 years.
You have to be someone who is NOT shy to succeed. If you are quiet and mellow , I'd say it probably isnt for you.
The best DJ's are people who Joke laugh , have fun , and can speak in front of people they never met before easily.

If you are not listener to any FM stations you will felt hard. If I were you, try to listen any FM stations and observe the DJs their modulation. Try to copy how they deliver their programs. Most of the time, you will be tested like you are a dj already. Be confident to apply.
