Smiles and laughs are not only the basis of happiness. In your own case which is your true reason of being happy. How do you identify personally if you're happy or not?

I think it's hard to know when we're happy or not because people don't get contented with what we have. Although, it is easy to know if you are unhappy. Maybe you know you're happy when you're not unhappy. Besides, what isn't bad, must be good right?

Honestly, I am not happy as I wanted to be. It is hard to reach that goal especially when you know that there are others involve to make it happen. But I do try to be somewhat happy with small things.

I don't think I've ever thought about a goal for myself in all my years but I don't feel unhappy because of it, but being 50 years and a half...lol had to throw the half in, it could be worst. Some people may say I don't have anything to show for my years on this earth. So how could I be a happy person, or I don't have what it takes to live with the upper class population and don't think I would want to be anyhow. If the world were to end in a few months time and our Government drew up a plan to save whoever they could before the end begins. I'm sure there would be a great list with names of people who would be rescued well at least the 1st ones and I'm sure me and people like me would not be one of them. So after the list was completed and those whose names were upon it were safe and secure, then and only then, anyone else could join them. (if we were able to do so that is). With all this and all that is around us we should just be happy that we are here...

Yeah,we can't basically tell someone who is happy or not through their faces. So some people are good at hide sarrowness. While mostly i tell this from their way of saying words and maybe that's different from normal way of speaking.

I don't feel happy every day of my life. I think this is a good thing since if I would feel happy every day I would not recognize that feeling anymore. Ofcourse there are things or occasions that make me feel happy but that feeling (yes it's a feeling I am aware of I feel happy) also can just pop up without anything special happening.

Happiness is when you're contented with your life, that even though there's a need of something you just don't focus on the need but your satisfied for whatever there is at the moment. That's whats how I feel when I'm happy. Worry don't rule me.

I guess I just know because I feel happy. I don't always smile and I don't always reflect on it by asking myself if I am feeling happy right not but I know I am happy when I'm happy. As for my behavior, when I am happy, I tend to walk slower. It's because I keep thinking about the happy moment in my head so I get lost in my thoughts and so my pace is slowed down.

I always smile and laugh. But I cannot truly say that I am happy. How we define happiness depends on ourselves. Whether it is simple or extravagant one that can make us happy. I have goals in life that I have not achieved til now. I guess if those things happen then I would say I am blessed and be the happiest person in the world.

When I am at ease, I feel peaceful and it is not hard to get things done. I feel comfortable and even smile sometimes. My mind won't be racing usually if I am happy.

If something makes you happy from the bottom of your heart, sometimes i may cry, sometimes i may smile. Facial expressions do not indicate what is in your heart. If i am happy, I think I will kiss or hug someone.

I'm into you!Facial expression is not the basis to identify the feeling of someone since there are times it's not real. They are all fakes. There are people who are really good in pretending and actions are also very deceiving.

It's simple- how I'm feeling inside. That determines whether I'm happy or not. Smiles and laughs are also necessary in our lives, because they come absolutely free. I remember one of friends messaged me "The best medicine in the world without any side-effects is a SMILING FACE". I personally can't smile if I'm not happy but I bring those smiley faces taking into account what situation I'm in and if it can improve a particular situation. Have a nice day.

Growth is the key to happiness. If you are feeling that you are growing you feel happy. If you are contributing something to the society then you feel happy because then you know that your life matters. You start feeling like life is worth living.

Like many others, I am not as happy as I think I could be. But what does make me happy and content in my life is knowing that me and my family are taken care of -- financially, emotionally, healthwise, etc. If all is well with us, the rest I can take as it comes.
