Are you working somewhere, where to reach there was your dream? Are you satisfied and happy with your job? Was it this job that you always dream't of? Well i have not yet got my dream job. I want to be a food photographer. I want to go and settle abroad take training for some exclusive bakery and confectioners classes from there. And also work as food photographer. This is my dream to go out and work. Not that i won't get those classes here, but there is no scope for them here in my country. And i want to experience working outside, living their culture and explore people. What is your dream job and how you will achieve it if you haven't yet done that. and if you have, a big congrats to you.

I envy your kind of job. I imagine different foods being captured by your camera..wow. I may say that I'm on the road to achieve my dream job and I'm quite satisfied, so far, with my current job. I'm doing my best to face the challenge everyday. Learn the ins and outs. Update myself with the new trends, learn new things, diversify is the key. Hope everything will turn out right for all of us. Thanks

hello archie, yes , At last I've got my dream job. After a lot of struggle in life, doing jobs from working in a small shop ,collecting RD'z,doing a part time job in a computer institute as a instructor, woked in a call center,as an executive in a insurance field and now finally A DESIGN ENGINEER working out of India. Yes I am proud to say that I am satisfied with what I have at the moment because getting a right job in my field and going abroad was my dream and thankfully i succeeded so far.And no one is satisfied with whatever he/she has, when you get something.your expectation are increased and your hunger for more is again increased from the previous level.I have yet to achieve my target of moving to Europe for a better job perspective and I am trying for the same. I agree with what you say about the scope of being a food photographer,Well if you are passionate about this which I am sure you are,you can try with basic photography first and then move to professional. In your previous discussion you mentioned about street photography and I did reply for the same,so to start with you can do shree ganeshay namah with basic photography, may be this helps..! Best of luck Raj

Hi Archie! You could be a professional photographer apart from covering hotels, food, chefs and ambiance. I did not land into my dream job but I landed somewhere else. However, that proved to be a kind of boon and the most secured job. I gradually climbed the ladder to the middle management position and I feel satisfied with my achievements.

My dream job is to become a doctor, but I ended up studying fine arts. I worked with handicrafts company as quality control assurance and designer (pattern designer) for many years. But due to the global crisis our company went on temporary closure. By then I worked in with telecommunications company with the Technical Department. Sounds odd- but I am happy with my previous jobs.

yes, I am now working outside my country, and that is my dream. but in terms of money I was earning more than when I was back home. I never dreamed to be a teacher either. No I am not satisfied. I need to explore more of other possibilities, like learning their native language so I can teach more efficiently. I don't like to be satisfied though I have easier job now than before, I am more appreciated as a person and as a teacher now,. Still I don't like to be complacent that I may be become to comfortable and forget to grow more. Yes, I live and conform to their culture and traditions. I need to eat their food, for I will surely starve. Yes, this is learning for me. I learn while I teach.
