Recently, there this been a proposal of the MMDA to impose a 45 days liquor ban in order to avoid possible crimes that would happen during the election period. Because according to the MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentinom, a 1 one day ban is not enough and too short. :)

That is really a good idea. Liquor is the reason for most of the crimes. In my country also they use to ban liquor for 2 or 3 days but 45 days seems to be too longer period.

But I guess it's good to impose a 45 day liquor ban than the usual days of banning liquors. :)

Well, for me i think it's too long for a ban for an election. But if it will add to the peace and order of the election, then why not?

I'm really not for or against it. I guess it's because I'm not affected by this proposal by the MMDA mainly because I already quit drinking 8 years ago. Liquor brings out the worst of my personality and it gave a lasting impression on my then girlfriend who is now my wife so I decided to quit. I really don't know the extent of this proposal. Is it like a total ban wherein no one will be allowed to consume liquor for 45 days? What are the details of this proposal?

It's not a big deal for me because I don't want to drink liquor all the time. Unlike other people they love to become drunk. While I am here in my family I am not pron to liquor. I prepare to stay at home and chat with my family.

It is really good, that to see your country takes such good measures for protection and safety. Yes i think banning liquor for sometime might bring situation to better from being worst.
