This afternoon I am starting to enjoy my winter vacation for twenty five days or so. I am getting excited about my travel and holidays after having worked for five months long on campus. It is a time for relaxation. Very soon I will take a bullet train from Hangzhou to Nanchang. It is exciting to me and my family as well. Do you look forward to your holidays? How do you usually spend it? Thank you so much for your response in advance. Take care! January 30th, 2013. 13:06p.m

yes, i do look forward to my holidays. i love them. they were just over, as my kids went to back to school (i home school them). i also enjoy summer vacation. i don't know what i would do if i were working. here in the state, people don't get to take vacations unless they have been on their job for years.

But here teachers get winter and summer vacations twice a year, which is good for us teachers and students. Now I have finished my twenty days' winter vacation and am back to school for teaching. It is exciting to see all of my students and colleagues. I am happy working again.

Ah, it's the holiday seasons where you are with upcoming Chinese New Year and all, isn't it? Here my kids are starting the new school year in a few days. They will have to wait until the end of the year before looking forward to another holidays.

Hello William ! First of all, have fun, relax, enjoy your days off ! Now for the holidays I like relaxing and sleeping more, spending more time with my wife, pursuing my hobbies more often, pretty much that would sum it up. If you are referring to the winter holiday, well we try to spend it in the family as much as possible.

That's nice that you have such a long time vacation. This is the benefit to be a teacher How long will it take for you to Nanchang from Hangzhou by the bullet train? I am just curious to it. I am not so excited to the Chinese New Year this time. Since my husband will go to his hometown and my son and I will stay in Guangzhou. Although he just goes there for a few days, but it is already different. Hopefully we will not have such a dilemma next year.

When I was working abroad I am looking forward to my vacation days of about 60 days but instead I prepare to resigned. My Boss in Saudi Arabia want me to came back after 60days but I want to try another brand name, I mean another hotel and another country. So, I told him that I won't come back if after 60 days I cannot communicate with him through email and that was I did, I didn't come back although until now I communicate with my staff before that my Boss still waiting when I go back to my work. Only one email he need, he will again send me my working visa.

I do like my Holidays. Yet sometimes they could also get us more stress, if too much of travel is involved. I prefer less traveling and more family time.

Hi, williamjisir, glad to know that you are having a long winter holiday. Me, too. It's good to go for a travel, but I have to stay at home, every year my whole family will gather together to spend the spring festival together. First in my family, then in my husband's family. So I don't have a plan to travel. Well, have a nice holiday and a nice trip!
