Why is it that there are many Jerry Springer Shows-like here in my country?

I live in the Philippines, the only Christian country here in South East Asia, we are supposed be religious, pious, upholding family values, Portray Good Values as Christian people correct? I mean currently how many Jerry Springer shows alike do we have here ,i can tell of two and they are quiet becoming a trend here and very popular! AKA Face to FAce and Personalan? is that correct? I was able to watch Jerry Springer show way back then came across it browsing cable channels and the topics are so bulgar and i was shocked of the scandalous behaviours that they show. Right now, why do we Filipinos love watching these shows?Like in Face to FAce? The lives of the people are somewhat scandalous too and they show it as entertainment, chismis? Any thoughts? Are we that scandalous too in our own lives?

that scandalous or somehow fantasize of being that scandalouos. so metimes we like to see things that are far fr from ourselves

i do not let my kids watch these shows because it might get in their head that what those people are doing are normal and correct which is really the opposite.

your right. it is also important to talk to kids and let them know that this kind of behavior is not right. you never know where these days kids might get exposed to these types of things

I've seen many episodes of Jerry Springer. They're too scandalous & violent. The reason people like watching these kind of shows is that they want something different, different from their daily routine life,something spicy.The makers of these shows know this,so they keep making more & more scandalous shows & this isn't happening only in your country, it's happening all over the world.

ha ha we have one here in Mexico... Its called laura in america. Others have tried to copy her, but dont last to long. her shows are just like jerrys....

i really thought Jerry's Show was worst with all the issues that they are dealing, years later turns out, we also have issues here, i can;t believe it and they call this entertainment?
