I am just wondering if the one who are most talkative here on myLot gets more money on myLot. I just observed this. This is a discussion site and we earn money here on myLot by discussing different stuff and so, those people that are active and talk too much gets more money rather than people who didn't talk too much.
I was wondering. What if their personality and character is not that talkative? I mean they talk less, but they're active. Does it mean she or he will get less money?
I just thinking. What do you think? Or this site is not for them?

If talking offline is the same as typing here, then yes, your observations are correct. We earn for our efforts here and the more we type and the more effort we put into what we type then the more our earnings will increase.
I have never been shy or lost for words either offline and I certainly don't have a problem finding something to say here
Getting involved in back and forth comments (which is discussing) is what earns best here. Keeping the conversation moving forward is what myLot tell us to do in the FAQs. Those of us who can always find something to say offline are probably those who have no difficulty in reaching their payout here

Oh. I didn't talk too much. In a real world, I am not talkative. I just write comment and respond whenever I feel like it. It is so understood that my earning is not that too big. This works for people who never lost for words I guess. Hmmmm... we can earn a lot of money if we find someone who does not care about money too much but all they do is talk a lot. There is a possible ways that he or she can become active here if we invite them to be our referral.
That is what I feel and I read that work should be fit in our personality and character so as to become successful.

You do have a valid point. This is a discussion site. It is possible that those who like talking offline would do well here.

And possibly not...my friend! I most often find in real life..the talkative ones...the motor mouths..just espouse anything that comes to mind, but having them parlay tangible thoughts into written word...is a huge challenge! Real life...I am fairly non-verbal..but here I get to correlate my thoughts (remember Diplomacy is thinking twice and saying nothing at all...LOL)!
I said good-nite to you on another response..are you having a late night?

It is not yet 8 here!.
It is those who like to interact in the real world would perhaps find this site to their liking but there are exceptions everywhere. I like talking off line. As you will see we are informal here and so it would be just like having a chat off line.

Hi shy, i think it is possible that it can be offset. but i realized that i have been both here in mylot but then i think i earned more when i am talkative and i have replied with a more meaningful post, with quality of course.
i used to reply to discussion with only using about three lines and i already thought before that was okay already... when i started responses with longer replies, i have earned more in mylot more than i did earn before when i replied to more, but shorter comments. So perhaps it your assumption / observation that is more the key to earning more in mylot. it is still the quality that counts than the quantity of posts (especially if it is only one liners.)

I do believed that this site is for everybody. It does not matter how you define yourself, either you are a talkative nor an active one, you are perfectly right here as long as you follow rules and regulations. Aside from that, being a good member of this site will surely leads you to have more earnings. Plus, if you always do participate and keep your target open, then this will surely get you going to get more money, to earn more and hit your target as well.
More blessings.

I am a silent type person in real life. I don't hang out with friends often. One thing is preventing me from sharing what's in my mind is because I am not sure if they are willing to listen to ideas. I would usually talk about that thing.
But here, I can share my ideas and whether other members may like it or not, I am not very much affected because I was able to share it.

Actually being talkative is easy because you are committed in anything but involve actively in social network or in Mylot is a quite difficult part because they need to spend their time in writing online. Some talkative people will be more lazy to spend time writing online.
It doesn't matter who you are and what is your character, the only matter here is that you want to earn money or not. If yes- you want to earn money in Mylot, you will be patient and start working harder.
That is my point of view. Any comment on this my friend.

i think as long as you respond to discussions and sometimes post some of your own, to keep it interesting you will be paid. just don't make your post to short, or violate the rules. there are some times i post more topics then i respond to topics and vice versa. i don't think that has anything to do with earnings. i think i earn the same if i just am really active responding to post. i just like to post my own sometimes to keep it interesting.

Yes....and NO! In the tangible world, I am quite mute, I am not very verbal, as conversations require instantaneous replies. Here, on this wonderful site, I get the chance to think twice, correlate my response..then type! So, I can give thought to diplomatic replies that reflect my opinion without being confrontational!
I truly do NOT worry about earnings, it is just the icing on the cake, albeit sometimes the icing is my favourite part...but I am here to just enjoy all of the wonderful people I have met from all walks of life!

I am quite introverted, even when. It comes to online interactions. I signed up here many years ago and have been back here and there. I have cashed out once and lost a few dollars here and there due to inactivity. I have always tried to give decent replies on discussions and really try ti add to the conversation. I don't really know many people on here though and have very little interaction with anyone here outside of discussions. Is this the place for me? Possibly not, although it will not keep me from coming back. I have become used to the people with the bubbly personalities having different opportunities than the more reserved, I guess I wouldn't think this site was any different.

Well, from my point of view, Mylot is a site suitable for everyone.
Whether or not people creative, talkative or lazy, all well accepted here!
Certainly more effort you put in the work to Mylot, of course, the greater its income.
However Mylot has a particular algorithm. It is designed to reward more than anything else the quality of the post, rather than the quantity.
For I am writing discussions, only when I have good clear idea of ??what I want to express.

I think it is true, some people are sometimes shy enough to not talk much, in online as well as offline world. It is good for those people who know how to write fast, and have a number of topics for discussions.
I myself discuss a few times here, because I get less time and less things to discuss about. It is good for ones, who enjoy and talk here a lot.

with all due respe t i hink i have to disagree with this thought. not really talkative but with most experience. we are considering that mylot pays us with quality posts as most of the topics discussed here are more on life and experiences, the one who has a lot can share quality posts because the story came from the heart and mind, easier to compose sentences. However a talkative one without having or limited life experiences would have difficulty thinking of what to put here

Your observation is very correct, but what i observed in a few days of joining is that, people even comment on the topics that don't interest them or have nothing to say about yet they comment just to earn a few cents which isn't a good practice. Mylot is a very good place for those who love sharing knowledge, and get paid for that and hence i believe it shouldn't be abused. Every single member here should keep that in mind.

Dear friend,
Wished I could meet those talkative people so that if their discussion are most could be soon found. I also see what you observed would be true as those talkative people gets something to talk. For myself I feel not much talkative and this could project my posting here. Anyhow, your observation is something that projects the psychological side...thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for this interesting discussion
What i know is here we are paid for our efforts, our time spent here, the more you type the more you earn
As a professor of physics i used to get my salary for my talk only
i confess i am less active here because of health issues and my reseash works and other off line activities
so i am usually late in commenting back to my responses.
