Is ebay good for buying?

well i have always had good service from ebay sellers but one think you should do is make sure you can get it shipped to you and what the final cost is going to be and some of the phone we have in the untied stated and mexico are from India

I think ebay is a good place to shop online. I just have heared alot about that but have no experience of shopping from the sire. But in my area I have seen people who had shopping from ebay or jabbang in india

I think ebay is good for buying as well as selling, that is why so many people like to use it as a forum for their online trading. There are many sales get to close inside ebay each year, some members may find it is a decent online site to buy while other may like to use it for selling their products either used or new one. Other may not hold so high of an expectation on ebay after a while of doing trade in it, there is no definitive answer whether it is good or bad for buying. I think the country that you live also affect how some of the ebay rules apply or not applying to you, making everyone who trade in this site has a bit of different in opinion regarding each personal experience after each sales, the policy of refund, return goods and payment process etc.... are not the same for all country, make sure you understand fully of the rule and policy of ebay before you want to engage in the trading activity of the site. I have found ebay a good source for buying. I not always sure that it was a safe site for purchases but I have been pleasantly surprised with the recent purchases that I have made. I would reccommend buying there to others.

Hi with eBay and pay pal.read all rules if seller rip you off. EBay has way to Report that seller.negative feed back Is.not good for seller.for me I have No problem buying stuff from EBay. One seller with a good feed back Try to rip.me off I reported to eBay and Pay pal got money back with no Problems.OK have good day.

Sometimes it can be.. but man that postage kills you. You get a good price on something and then the postage is so high.

I've bought small things from ebay and have sold a few small things as well. I'm not sure about something like a phone, that seems more risky to me. i think most people on eBay are pretty honest and pretty fair, but you get occasional scammers. A 99.7% feedback rating is very good, though.

Hi constantinez. Well, Ebay can be good and it can be bad. I would say 95% of my transactions have been positive but that's in England. Ebay don't always jump to help you with a problem. I was messed about with a lot of time wasters when I was selling a motor scooter. One idiot messed me about because I wouldn't accept his ridiculous offer and he bid for it and won. Then he wouldn't pay for it and Ebay did nothing. So it wasted a lot of my time. So they are not always that supportive. Difficult one for you, as it's India. If something really is too good to be true, then don't trust it. What you could try and I have done it, is contact some people who have bought items from this seller before and ask them politely if they had a good experience with the seller and received their goods ok. People don't mind replying if you are polite. Try it and good luck! Robin

Well, I don't know how ebay works in India, but I already bought several items in ebay from England, Spain, Germany, France, Italy and China. In all cases, I had good experiences. So, I think until you don't try, you won't know if it works.

Ebay is pretty much like any other online shops, some are legit some are scams. Its not really a fool proof or scam free site. Just exercise caution and good judgment before buying anything. Just remember that if the deal seems so good to be true, then it probably is.

Ebay is a very popular site to sell scarce things. It is safe to buy stuff from India. But you have to evaluate and review the seller first. I have bought stuff 8 times from Ebay, all the transactions and deliveries took place smoothly.
