i must say i love watching animated films. though some may think they are made for kids, i think most of them have more depth than some films for the grown-ups. i think it's because you're no distracted with the actors portraying the role that you tend to focus and understand the characters more. some of them even made me cry like toy story 3, up, reck-it-ralph, etc.
what's your opinion on animated films?

UP is an awesome animated movie, along with some of the others that are out there. I enjoy a good animated movie from time to time, as I have enjoyed some of the animated cartoons still airing all the time. Many of them continue to be good classics even yet today.

yes, i consider them classics before their audience captures all the demographics of age, from the young to old. when the young today gets old and the new young comes, i believe they will still enjoy the movies.

I love them too.. I am not even a teenager anymore but i have not stopped watching them. I just love Pixar and Disney's animated films.. we can even learn something from them. They are even better than some movies acted out by real people.. They even make me cry- especially Up, Toy Story and tangled. I even watch cartoon on tv- they are sometimes too silly but they are very enjoyable to watch and if you want to laugh a lot.

yes, these "childish" movies really make me cry. i don't know. i guess because i can feel that they are more sincere and honest.
i also like cartoons. i really find them funny though i'm in my mid-20's.

I also love animated movies. I dont think that it's only for kids. Now a days most of the animated movies are made for every age group. Movies like Up & Toy Story are for everyone & gives a message to all.

i think the themes of the animated movies are really universal so i'm not surprised everyone can relate to it.

I have always loved animated movies. I am now an adult and i still love them and go see them with my hubby. Some animated movies are not for kids like one called American Pop from the 1980's. Or Heavy Metal also from the 1980's. But some have been for kids that i watch like Toy Story or Disney movies. Sometimes i watch animated movies to do things with my 9 yr old niece and 4 yr old nephew. The movie Up i don't think in the beginning was as much for kids as adults. I also cried at the movie Up.

you know what we have the same perspective. it also brings out the child in me. and i must say it's just pure innocence yet you will learn greater lessons when your watching it as an adult.

me too, I like animated films... they are very entertaining. I don't know why but choosing between a Filipino movie and animated one, I will choose animation. (no offense meant to Filipino movie... I just don't like much drama in life)

i understand you. filipino movies nowadays are full of crap. you can rarely see a filipino film with substance.
