Hi i'm only new and kinda finding it hard to figure out whats the best way to earn money from this site. I also want meet new people on here too, so anyone who wants to add me, go ahead.
I have since realised that replying to replies doesn't seem to bring earnings. I'll still do it cause I like it but still i'm hazy about what else earns money on here.

That is quite untrue. You will earn for EVERYTHING that you type, discussions, responses and comments, provided that it is of sufficient quality and is not deleted because of a Guideline violation.
Very short responses and comments which add nothing material to the discussion will earn you nothing, of course.

I like to do a bit of both. I like adding my opinion to discussions but I also want to earn money if possible and also new friends.

Saying "Thank You" to the comments leave on your discussions is against myLot guidelines. Refrain from doing. Interaction happen when you start connect to the responder. I mean be consistent on the topics you discussion. Regardless of lenght your can participate in a forum thread like discussion. As you observe my number of post not increase rapidly, it's because I also comment back to those member who replied my post.

I find it rude to say just thank you anyway. I also try to say a little bit more, assuming I can. I am trying to comment/reply to the best of my ability and thats all I can do at the end of the day :)

That's right, it depends on how much free time you have, and how much you are willing to spend on here. No pressure.

Ah sure I have enough free time to waste and I might as well earn for it if I can.

First of all, stop thinking of joining Mylot with an aim to make money. It's not a money making site. You can make friends here, share with memberso a worldwide community, learn a lot about people from other countries and earn a little for doing all this.I don't think one who joins here can turn a millionaire no matter how active he or she is here. But,yes,we can maximise our warnings here by increasing our activities here.

I'll be straight up and honest saying that I did join for that reason but I'm all for making friends anyway.
Also I know i'll never get rich off it, as I said in reply to another comment, if I can get to a stage where I have 10 euro or so a month, i'll be more than happy.

what i do is just to give responses on the topic hat interest me, i read first all the other responses nad then post my own, i agree with the other users that it is not about the money but the joy of posting and learning something, learning from the experience of the other users , for me that counts a lot

What earns money on here is responding to and coming with your own discussions.Respond to as many as you can and start as many as you can a day and you are sure to get alot of money.

I used to post a lot but I have fallen behind. I started out for the money but now I use this site for information and relaxation. The money is just a bonus.
If you want more earnings start more discussions and respond when others do. I have earned better when I start posts. You can use posts to learn. Like when I want to know about a new game or movie I just post a question about it. A lot of times I post in the computer section because my interests lie there.

Yeah I have too, first time i've been back on in a week or two.
That is a great idea and I think I will do that, I do prefer just replying to my own discussions then other people's.

All of the writing that you do on MyLot is something that will earn you a little bit of money. Now it is imperative that you realize that there is no way that you are going to be getting rich off of the activity that you've done on this site. However, if you start discussions, you will be paid a little bit, but you are paid more when you respond to the responses on your own discussions, if you respond to someone else's discussion, you will be paid. Heck, if you have a discussion that will go on for days and days between you and another person, you will be paid as well.
Happy mylotting.

Oh I know, I only want it for small 10 euro or so purchases with paypal. I would be happy with say having that once a month. It's probably out of reach for me now but maybe in time I can get to that.

Yeah it is amazing how easily you can get swamped with one discussion. As I have with this one. Ah sure it's all just a bit of fun.

Welcome to the greatest place on the net.
Replying to others is key here really. Its a discussion site so get involved in the discussions! Talk with people in their boxes. myLot pays for quality but everyone's "quality" is different. It doesn't have to mean long paragraphs or perfect grammar.
Basically what I find earns the best for me? When I forget I am earning and just have fun through out the site!

Just focus in here. Do not get discourage if you can not be able to earn a dollar points in a day. Just do your best to participate in here and just enjoy commenting on those topics that you are interested with. You might not notice, by participating everyday, you wake up one day, you already reaches the minimum pay out. Good luck!

I always try to post on myLot. But being extremely busy now-a-days in my professional life, I cannot spare much time for mylot. But whenever, I visit it, I try to enjoy it as well as to earn from this great site which is really great in all respects.

I don't know how often I post on MyLot. Maybe when I'm bored or when I have something to say? Usually when I want to know something or want people's opinion on things. I would post here.
