Songs and Akcent

Akcent has a number of songs to their credit both Romanian and English. Some of their Romanian songs have wonderful music. And even though I dont understand the words, I love listening to them. My all time favorite is That's my name. I heard their songs for the first time at a friend's place and have got hooked on to their songs. Which other songs are your favourites? Has it ever happened to you. You listen to a song and end up liking the song, the group or individual who sang it and the other songs of the same.

Honestly this is a first time i heard about Akcent, I search in youttube once I saw your post and now i was heard the song title "That's My Name" kinda a good song but guess what if you heard the background music carefully it seem like a song of "stereo love"

That's my name is good and so is Stay with me. So many times it happens that you listen to song and it stays your favourite for very long time. You listen to them and the songs from the movie or yes the album.

Yes it is. But if the songs are of a particular group that you like, you end up liking all songs sung by them.

Thanks for this discussion I am fond of songs from old hindi movies of 1960-1980, the recent ones i don't like, they appear noisy to me.

Ya compared to songs of the 60s to 80s the music can be noisy but still some of them are melodious. Some of the songs sung by Akcent are the soft romantic songs and not those heavy metal types.

Yes it happens with me when I listen to a song and end up liking the song, the group or singer who sang it. So I search other songs of the same & download them. Well Akcent is one of my favourite group. I like That's my name & love stoned songs of them very much.

Oh Yeah. That's my name was the first song I had heard. So that is my most favourite song. Love Stoned -- Well I havent heard that. But they are one of the most talented groups. I mean I even love the songs which they have sung in their native like Umbrela Ta -- I dont understand it much but I still love it.
