If not, why not? Would you be suspicious, afraid, or what?

What would make you more suspicious $5.00 or $500.00? Why?

I would surely doubt it and be suspicious if someone offered me money out of the blue. I would think I'd be on candid camera or something like that, or that the person wants certain services of me I don't provide (sure hope that's never going to happen! LOL!). And last but not least, there are also people luring you into buying stuff or getting hooked on something. A guy offered me a newspaper the other day and he said it was free, so I thanked him and took it because I didn't want to be unpolite (but I allready had the same one at home,...). When I took it he wouldn't let go of it and started blabbing about free stuff and he wanted my name and before I knew it I was allmost a subscriber. I said: "Now way, you just offered me this newspaper, I don't need a subscription I allready got one!" Than the guy laughed in my face, I was really upset and angry with him. I understand they want to sell stuff, it's their job, but he was dishonest and tricky and was laughing at me because he thought I was lying. Very bad.. I should contact the company about it.

It would really depend on the context. If some random person just came up to me on the street and gave me money? I'd take it. Sure, there's a chance it was stolen, but how would I know? There are rich people who just hand out money.
