Yes, it does make it hard when you know you owe others money, including bills and you are behind. It can make it quite frustrating ffor sure. Especially when you know it just has to wait as the money is not there. I know it is always good when you are caught up for sure. Hope you were able to get this taken care of as you wanted.

I guess the reason you were sleepless over just a mere $33.33, that you were sure of paying the coke guy the next day is just because you have learned your lessons. Your Ex- having borrowed from everyone without paying a dime and you don't like anyone to think of you that way. I had borrowed from a cousin before and paid after sometime and the reason I could not pay her in time was because she stays in another city. Even though I could pay her in a month or two, since I was earning monthly, it dragged because we had no contact face to face. I ended up paying double because of the small interest. The best thing now is I am doing well and some of my friends owe me some $$ but I am in no need right now so I don't hardly bothers.

I dont think anyone would like to owe anyone money. When you owe someone money, your relationship with them will never be the same again.

Owing is not bad, as long as the money you are borrowing is at a good reason, and you must have not forget to pay that person who trust you for his money. Most of us cannot really avoid owing someone money, especially in times of emergency and sudden events. People should realize the value of it so saving money for those events are on the top of our list. :)

I take it when you say coke, you mean the soda variety? LOL. I am not sure what is 33, is that 33 dollars? Is that a lot, how much coke do you drink my friend? Personally I prefer pepsi to coke, and I buy it as I need it, it's part of my grocery shopping, so I don't owe anything. Fortunately I have no debts.

I know how you feel. Its good that you have built up enough confidence in your vendors though, so that you could still have your supply. Thats a very good thing to have. It makes a great impression on your community for your personal status and the trustworthiness of your business.

We live in a world today that is pretty much a debtor's society. In saying that, I believe that I am trying to say that we really do tend to live in such a way that we do always owe something to someone. However, this really is something that my husband and I have been working really hard to change in our own lives. We have almost paid off the majority of our credit card debt and our cars are both paid off. This means that it really won't be all that much longer before the only debt that we have will be what we owe on our house and that really isn't a debt either, but rather an asset.

Maria, no one wants to owe somebody money. As much as we can we would like to be debt free. But sometimes it can't be avoided that we incur a debt , so as to be able something big even without money, and that is by using the credit card. We just have to assure ourselves though, that when the bill arrives we have the money. In your case, i think the Coke man allows credit to those he already knows to be a valued client and maybe you are one of them.

I hate owing money. But the reality is that we always owe something. We do have bills we need to pay. And we pay them. But that I understand. When it comes to something else, never. I never lend money and I never borrow money. So, I feel content.

I don't really like to owe money to anyone. I know what it feels like to owe someone money. It can be a pain in the head; however, to ease the pain of owing money, the best that anyone can do is to expend their money wisely and rely on the money they have to cover all their expenses without having to ask for loans, which over time can disrupt your economic balance.

I wouldn't have worried in that case. If I knew I could pay next day I'd be fine. If I had a debt or a bill that I couldn't pay then I'd be worried. The thing is, I never let myself get into that sort of situation because I always have something put by for emergencies.

My husband is one who wants every bill to be paid the day it is received, even though it may not be due for a month. Our across the street neighbor is the opposite. She waits until the day a bill is due before she pays it. It isn't that they don't have the money to pay the bill. She just likes to keep her money in her account as long as possible.

Hi Maria I feel like I am a looser if I ever owe a money to someone I remember long time ago that I owe some money from my mother in law I was so poor that time even I don't have enough money to feed my family but I am glad now I am not that poor anymore

Unless we live in the jungle, don't we all or at least our families owe money unavoidably to banks or financial institions, car loans , house payments, momthly utility bills etc etc. cannot escape it i guess, we will be considered very rich but then again even very wealthy have debts, a fact of life. But i think i know what you mean when it is about personal debts, it makes one feel very uncomfortable

Here in my country there are companies which would supply goods then get the payments later so I think since what you owed was for business then just think of it as business. I mean you will definitely pay for it after receiving sales so no worries.

I hate to owe people and being late on anything I do owe. when it is due I need to get it done.. but sometimes you have to owe it helps in some ways. but really truthful I do like to owe anyone...
