Along with the development of technology, more and more people choose reading e-books because of it's convinence, cheap and well-resources .we can read e-books at any time anywhere,it’s free and space saving. But i'm still like tradional books,it can keep my eyes comfortable and i can make notes in the book.so i can often read the details that i like.how about your opinion?i'm believe that e-book never replace the traditional book.

I kinda agree with you regarding ebooks not replacing regular books. I've been having that dilemma regarding the purchase of books myself. I'm an avid book reader and having probably about 500 books. I was given an e-reader a few years ago which I used often. Then I purchased an I-phone on which I can download and read books and last year I got a tablet that also has e-books and the ebook best sellers are a little cheaper. My dilemma is that I have many hard copy collections, that even though I may have the e-book for I still want the hard copy to complete the collection. Which really defeats the purpose of the e-book. Although electronic devices are more portable and take up much less space, they have to constantly be recharged. Whereas you can pull out a hard copy book wherever you are without the threat of losing power/signal. Still haven't figured out what to do just yet. It's an ongoing dilemma.

This is a tough choice.I prefer to tradional books,in fact I read E-books more. For its convinence, cheap and well-resources.Along with the development of technology, the more convinence we got,the more tradional life style we lost.that's a trend.

I am still reading real books, but if I had the money I would give using a ereader a whirl, there are so many free books, and they seem to be less costly then the read deal, which would also cut down on the many books that take up room in our home.

I like traditional books too because they're more eye-friendly and sometimes my head hurts from all the light emitted by a computer screen. And i like the ambience a book brings, i like touching the pages, the smell of the paper and everything. Sitting down with a good book is a better reading experience than sitting on an e-book

for now I prefer to read e-books, it is more easy to use and easy to download e-books file.. but your right we need to use the traditional books instead of e-book other than its the original, it is because we dont need let the technologies seize our minds.

I am certainly old fashined when it comes to books. Nothing can give me more pleasure than feeling the book, turn pages, see how I advance reading, how much I have left from reaching the end. With e-books, even though they are much lighter and can be taken with you anywhere, it's not the same feeling. There are lots of talks about replacing regular libraries with digital ones, but hope this will never come into being. Kids learn faster to read and enjoy books much more than an e-book. Adults, same. I say, change things that need to mbe changed, not those that benefit a whole lot of public.

No e-books can never replace the traditional book. I somehow find it very difficult to read the online version of books. I am comfortable reading the printed version. I love holding those books in my hand, the smell of the pages is intoxicating. The normal traditional books can be carried anywhere, read even when lights are not there, which may not be possible with ebooks.

I even cannot think of reading a whole book on pc and I don't have any smart phone or tab or i-pad. So I am completely relied on reading the traditional books and I am much comfortable with them. If I am to read e-book , I have no option but to sit in front of stationary computer and read. But, books I can read at any place I like. But, I think I will adapt myself to e-book when I will have smart phone with me.

Yeah, I like to read and turn the pages of a normal book than e-book. Although, I may say that having an e-book is way convenient than carrying the traditional book. During the past few months I downloaded a couple of books and I started reading one of them but my eyes became so stressed and I feel like if I continue reading, my vision might be affected. So, I still choose the traditional book even though it's heavier but I am more concerned of my eyesight.

I agree e-books are really great, I truly like both however there is something about the smell and feel of a real book. I also like bookmarking a page as well. I like both but I will always prefer a real book! With technology I feel we need to go with the flow or we may get left behind. Maybe one day they will come up with something more simular to a real book.

I think use of e-book or traditional book to read is just a form of reading. suitable for different people at differetn times and places. Maybe on the way of work, i will use e-book to read, and back to home,i will read traditional book.

I read ebooks a lot because it's cheap, and you don't need to have big bags or a closet for the books. But, yes, nothing can replace the traditional hard bound and paperbacks. It's still fun using a colorful book mark when you want to stop reading. I still buy paperbacks on Book Sale, or trade with other book lovers.

I agree with you. I myself still love the traditional books than e-books. Yes, e-books is easier and cheaper, but like what you said, traditional books is easier on the eyes.

I am just like you,Zoe.Our choices are the same.I like traditional books too.Being a book lover since my childhood when there were no computers around I went on getting used to reading traditional printed books and keeping them in my home library. Now there are computers and so there are ebooks. But still I have a liking for traditionally printed books.Buying them, feeling them in your hands, smelling them and then saving them in myy book shelf is a plasure that can only be felt, not described. Moreover we have been experiencing shortage of power in our area.Power cuts is a norm here.So reading ebooks is something we generally don't think of.I,for one,am satisfied with my traditional, printed books. They are my choice.

I used to buy books because I love to read. And I used to stay in bookstores for hours when I was still a student because I don't have extra money to buy books. I'm able to buy books now, but ever since e-book came, I'm just buying the ones that I collect or really like. It's true that no one can replace real books and if you're a collector, it's satisfying to see all your books in a shelf.

I completely agree with you. Traditional book raeding style is more comfortable, it is best suited for eyes. But now I get time to read books on computer only. I need to spend 9 hors daily in front of computer as my job demands this so whenever I dont have much work I start reading the books, anyways I have to stare at the screen for 9 hours either I have work or not, so I utilize my time in reading if get time from work and the good part about it is ebooks are easily available and cheap.
