last week i was shot by an intruder, the bullet going straight through my arm an thro ugh the patio window. its been interesting to note various peoples reactions to the event. now im followed around everywhere i go by my partner who refuses to let me out of the house on my own, hopefully this will change. ive had a long string of visitors who fall into two categories those who look cheerful and talk about anything you want to talk about and those that look concerned but talk about themselves . it seems to be affecting everyone around me more than it affecting me, as im quite unconcerned , apart from getting extra locks i can imagine its worse fpr my partner as as he saw mecovered in blood- i fortunately couldnt see myself lol.....but everyone else seems to be acting really wierd as well..... i would think its better to try to act as normal as possible for the victim in these circumstances - what do you think?

I am glad that you are ok! You were lucky. It's normal to have all those difrent responses because your situation is not a common one. People don't know how to react and act around you I hope that you are doing well after that shock.
