We all are too much busy in our life. Busy in office work, busy in house chores. Our hectic routine doesn't let us to take a breath & think about ourselves, think about the last time we took a break & spend some quality time with our friends and family.
Everyone wants a break from their busy lives. Everyone wanna go for a vacation & enjoy the life.
What's your view on vacations? Do you also think that vacations are important in life?

People this busy will end up with heart attcks or worse. People can slow down if they want to. I think it is an addiction. Workaholics. People who don't know how to live any other way. Everyone in a hurry to get through their days but for what? What are they really accomplishing and is it really the life they want? They can back away from some of it and be healthier and happier if they want to. It has to be a concious decision.

Yeah, some people are too much involved in their work. They're doing overtime & working extra hours to get some more money or promotion. They're workaholics. But this way they're also getting prone to various disorders like tension, depression, less sleep etc.
It's necessary to take a break from the busy life and enjoy the beautiful life.

And even its a hotel in town with a pool. A vacation away from the regular schedule of your life is what people need. Or they could be adding divorce and child support to their list.

Traveling overseas is extremely important to me. I have to do at least one trip each year to places abroad. I might visit a single country near or faraway. Alternatively I might visit several different countries that are near to each other on one of my trips. A vacation is time for some relaxing and some exploration. Everyone needs a break from his or her usual routine at home.

I truly believe everyone should get a month or six weeks off of vacation every year. It helps with getting quality work from en employee in my opinion. Thankfully when I worked after ten years at the same company I was able to get a month off a year. So I would break it up throughout the year to give myself a break and a life outside from the hectic life of working, maintaining a home and dealing with kids. Even taking the kids with us on vacation it was a break from the same scenery and it was fun and relaxing. I believe people in other countries have it right when they close down businesses for a month so everyone is on vacation.

I agree that everyone should be able to take a vacation in their life, I think it would be good to get one every year. My husband and I have not had a vacation to ourselves since we have been together, 9 years.
If we had the money to go we would but with 3 kids there is no way we will be getting a vacation any time soon...
I only wish for one, we could really use a break from reality but the lack of money will probably always stop us from being able to go.
Oh well, I am pretty used to it thank God so at least I can handle not getting to go on one...

Vacation for me is important because of health and motivation. Health in the sense that to much stress brought to us by work and everyday issues in our lives could break us and lead us to sickness. Motivation in the sense that, we deserve a rest, rest physically and mentally , and I think vacation is the best motivator for us to keep us going ,to inspire us to work hard and go with our life despite of any struggle that we have.
In one article I've read, vacation is important to relieve from stress, acquired new positive behavior, as compensation for hard work,it will broaden your horizons, and renewal of ties and bonds.

I agree on the motivation, it feels better to work when you have a vacation to look forward too, money to spend on your vacation and everything. I bet it will double anyone's productivity if they were motivated like that.

I do think vacations are necessary for most people. You have to take some days off and travel to somewhere new to fill yourself with experiences and new impressions, or just to have a rest and have a good tan to get back to work with a positive outlook on life and relaxed. Also, if you don't have a vacation, and you only concentrate on work, it's going to tear you apart and you are going to be burnt out.

My last vacation didn't turn out well at all, sadly, it lead to splitting up with my ex, the whole time we spent together she spent on Facebook, posting. I guess I learnt something new about her, I had never been away with her before, and I won't again. If I want a vacation I have to go on my own, it doesn't bother me to be honest, I don't like the heat anyhow, so going to a hot country is a big NO NO for me. And besides I would miss going to the gym!

yes, it is important that we take a vacation or a break in our work. to keep a healthy social life and family life, a break in our work is advised. to take vacation with family or friends bring a new life and energy to our work. some companies even pay for the vacations of their employees because they recognize the importance of recreation in human life.

Very much. My vacations, totally for rest and mental blank out. The working days are so busy and stressed out that even the sleeping hours I use thinking as I sleep. The vacations bring the much needed relief. It is a time I really take a break from the schedule, routines and thinking.

vacation is very important to refresh our mind and body from the routine activity. unfortunately, sometimes it's very hard to ask long off/ long holiday request to our company.most of time, we only have 1-2 days vacation and the next days, after tired from vacation, we have to come back to office!

who doesn't want to go out and have some fun for quite sometime?
We all need at least to have quality time for ourselves, our partners and even with the kids at least once a year to strengthen the bond that ties and even to build happy memories together that vacation offers.
Indeed, every one deserves a break from anything that gives them stress and burnout. It doesn't need to be luxurious. As long you find a place and time when you can relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

I do think that we should allow ourselves to relax and spend sometime for a vacation. This energizes us and inspires us as well to do a better job.
All work and no play makes one a dull person.

Yes, I do believe in that. Vacations are important with us for us to unwind and to relax. Work is always so stressful and so we need to refresh our body and mind by taking a vacation. Speaking into it, I'll gonna have a long weekend vacation on Lenten season.I am so so excited about it because I'll gonna go to a stranger place. It would be a great adventure I guess.

Vacations are important. You can't just g work and work all the time. Your life will be so dull and boring that way, you'll need something to look forward to that can push you and motivate you and relax your body . All work and no play makes jack a dull boy.

All work and no play makes for a very boring and lonely live. But if you are in the situation that I am in, you have no choice. I recently opened a shop and as a new shop owner the idea of having a vacation soon is just out of the question. I work from Monday to Sunday with no break. Yes I have thought how long it would take before I break down from no off time, but until that happens it is full steam ahead.
