I am drinking today my first decaf coffee, my sister received 3 packages from a friend and the taste it's not bad. I wanted to know more about decaf coffee and i've read that it could contain a small amount of caffeine and it's considered unhealty because of the chemicals used in decaf process and it can also lead to rheumatoid arthritis.
I usually drink regular coffee and i don't have any problem with it. What about you?

I drink coffee very regularly, although I always drink the normal coffee. I know that decaffeinated is considered healthier, but drinking coffee has never caused me any problems so I am quite happy to continue doing so. I really dislike the taste of decaffeinated coffee, so there would be little point in my bothering to drink it.

I also tried decaf coffee before but I'm not satisfied with the taste, so I goes back to the original taste. If what you have said is true about the rheumatoid thing, I think I should stick to the one with caffeine. I'm too is a coffee drinker or if I may say, already addicted to it.

Oops, sorry to hear about that but I don't have any idea if drinking coffee really had an effect on rheumatism. Anyway, I started my love for coffee when I was still a teen and still enjoying it to the present.

Say no to decafe that is my story I had to drink it when I was married and I hated it I will take the leaded coffee any day of the week decafe is just to bitter to me and I like my coffee black with decafe bring out a pound of sugar and a gallon of milk per cup of coffee just to kill the bitter taste

I drink one cup of decafe a day and that is in the evening when I want a hot drink that does not keep me awake. I prefer the normal coffee and drink too many cups of that a day. I hope it does not cause arthritis as I have the disease. My twin brother only drinks tea and he is free of arthritis, so I am a little suspicious.
Sometimes I wonder why I drink coffee at all especially as I need a tsp of sugar to make it acceptable!

I will always stick with my favorite- regular coffee , but i said i should give decaf coffee a try and see how it tastes. For me it tastes good,it isn't strong but it has a flavor of chocolate and i think it depends of the company.
I think we need coffee because it's addictive and once we fell in love with her we can't go back :)

I always drink coffee but I've never tried decaf. I haven't had a reason to. I don't drink enough for the caffienne to bother me because I used to drink a lot of sodas instead.

I'm not into coffee, I drink it once in a while whether decaf or not. I don't know about the process of decaf but if just taken occasionally I think it's not that bad.

Hi machatago, i also believe that it can't be that bad, they won't sell it if it was bad, or at least i want to think positive :)

I drink some coffee every day but I don't believe its enough that I should be worried about my caffienne intake. I know caffiene is what is bad for you in coffee. If I get to the point I am addicted to drinking coffee through out the whole day I may consider switching to decaf then.

It's good to be careful with the caffeine but if we drink a small amount of coffee it won't be bad for us.I'm not drinking too much, just 1-2 cups a day and i'm enjoying it to the last drop :)
