How do you understand tough love in raising up your children, do you agree with the idea or not, and why so?

I don't think that it should always be about tough love when you are raising your children. However, I do think that there are some times that this is something that is necessary when it comes to your children. I tend to believe that children that are always given everything that they want and who are never punished for the wrongs that they've done in their lives grow up to become the same kind of citizens as those that are punished and do have to experience tough love when they are going through their childhood.
It might not be easy for a parent to give out tough love, but I do think that it is something that really is important.

tough love is hard to explain other then to raise our kids what is right and wrong and that you not going to get every little thing that you want for what ever reason
