Yes, the rain can be very relaxing in times of hot weather. When it rains in my area, it's usually light rain. It's very refreshing when I go jogging.

I miss the rain too, but not now. I miss the warmer weather first, then the rains next. It just makes me feel more calm and there just something about the rain sounds falling down the roof and windows and the cool breeze that lulls me to sleep.

Hi Hotsummer, It's summer now where you are and I could just imagine how warm it is. I miss the rain too, but if I still live there I'll only wish for shower, just to dampen the ground and cool the air. No heavy rains though, coz they bring more harm than good like flood and traffic. Good day.

I love rainy days as it makes you feel calmer and cooler. The weather these days are so hot that I will always get head ache in the afternoon and worse when I go out to do something. That is why rainy days always saves the day. I enjoy the scenery too when it rains, looking at the raindrops just keeps me thinking about a lot of things. I wish that it will rain more often but not the heavy ones.

Rain just stop here, but it still cold and I wish I could stay longer in my bed till the sun is up, if it's up It is so tempting when rain comes at 5am and makes us sleep deeper into dream and when we feel that it's time to get up but feel lazy because it's rain out there and bed still calling us to holding us back into restful sleep.

Oh, I'm a bit envious of you. Here, the weather is quite gloomy. No rain, but quite dull and cool weather. But I understand your point, I hate it when it's too hot.
