Without computer, work is delayed

Hi, School has come a long way since we used pen and paper to do our work. I have observed more and more students come to the library not to read books but they make a beeline to the computer terminal to do research online. Gone are the days of jotting down notes on the call cards and organizing the material by hand and if one is lucky cold have it typewritten for submission. I cringe everytime I see a copy-pasted work without even citing the author or the website it was lifted from, it is plain plagiarism. I also wonder about the students whose parent can't afford to have even three meals a day, let alone a five hundred dollar piece of electronic equipment that could break down without notice. Wish schools would just make things simpler like it was then.

Hi friend, in this modern days computers are essential for every one and most of the households have computers. Good to know that you bought laptop again. Surely it will be useful for your daughters as well as your self. Computer is one of the mandatory need in this days.

Hi there yanzaloing, i am glad you have bought yourself a laptop again for the kids. i would suggest not to allow them to stay in the internet cafes, i mean its not really safe nowadays for kids to be staying in such places and its better they are doing work and homeworks at home and safe than be out and being with a lot of other influences.

I agree, having our own computer at home is better than going to net for school works and other research. My kids doesn't like to net shop because they are not comfortable with other people around- also net shops are sometimes too crowded with gamers and little kids are noisy too.

Indeed my friend, we are lucky that modernization made our work easy. I can still remember the old-fashion type writers, if you wanted to be more presentable reports; no alterations can be made.

And the mobie,too.I can't image how I work without a mobie.
